He asked me to come back the following week to buy it for him, so I did for the pricely sum of 60 quid. This was 1988. A couple of years later I was quite upset because he never came back to collect the scooter. Very different was then. I still have the bike today and he isn't much loved by the scooter fraternity as far as I can see. LOL
