wow... the zerg player was completely destroying his airforce, but barely bothered a ground force. i thought at first he was building up a hydralisk attack while his devourers own the skys, but he didnt. apparently the protoss dude was smart and made a ground force of archons

a great game by both players. the archon army was great move, since the zerg was using queens for ground defense mostly. great micro by the protoss esp won it.. but I always think zerg has a tough time once a lot of photons are up on island maps. i'm surprised the protoss player did not try for a recall

That is by far the best battle I've ever seen.

Maybe it's just me but i think GoRush planned to just go devourer to kill Stork's carriers until he was out of resources, but since he made so much, he didn't have anything to counter and move towards Stork so all he could do was resist and see if he could make Stork spend his resources on reinforcements.

The reason why even though GoRush had a few bases to mine from and he still lost is because of the supply limit. He had the resources alright, but rather than use supply to build drones to mine, he used the supply to maximize his army so that he could win crucial battles.

stork had a lot of sairs, reaver would be ineffective due to mass ultra and potential air stuff, and if gorush would've went anything else BESIDES dev/muta such, his overlords would be flying candy. this is why maelstrom is effective vs gorush, not stasis, due to its invincibility, watch reach vs chojja reach's lockdown if u wanna know why. its all a matter of common starsense, i do not know why you all must quarrel over something obvious.

1. Arbiters are damn expensive, and to change their techtree, it takes time. when Gorush pressures Stork with Hella devours and hydras, it is right to fend off with templar/reaver/career/sair. while you make ur arbiter, you can be overrrun. to use arbiter, you need at least 3-4 when its 200/200. all the arbiter skills must be developed too. and stasis field does not freeze everything, it will only freeze about 5-6. it is dif from mailstorm.

Arbiters can't freeze a whole army, because of that and the fact that Zerg don't care if half their army is frozen, Arbiters would've wasted much needed supply for Carriers. The cloak provided by Arbiters would've done nothing, Ensnare, Plague and Devourer spit would've revealed them free of charge. Besides, with the Zerg winning the air war, Reavers wouldn't have helped the situation, Gorush probably would've went Mutalisk, Devourer, Queen, Defiler.

I don't understand how GoRush played...Why was it so important for him to defend that area with all his strength. GoRush could easily have gotten lings and mutas with perhaps a few gaurds and sent them to a weakly defended expo and destroy it...Or he coulda done some drops near the p's unit producing buildings to halt production for a while...and he still woulda had enough units to fend off a little...

the spores make the enemy unit attack slower (1/8 slower for each spore, so 8 would mean enemy is twice as slow as normal; max is 9 spores)

in addition, each spore will eat away a point of enemy armor, for a max of -9 armor.

oh, and cloaked units with spores will be revealed.
