  • what teacher would allow her to play this? its too hard.

  • haha

    nice duet :D

  • I like how the poor girl memorized the whole work and her teacher struggles keeping the stupid book open.

  • how long have you been learning the piano in general?

  • Very good! Congratulations !!!!!!

    5 *****

I want a nice week and best wishes!

  • awesome job, anna!! flabbergasting job!

  • Thank you!! I hope this will be ready for competition in the fall!

  • Terrific Concerto!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks! Maybe it will be competition material in the fall ...

  • :16-:25, That is the cutest thing I have seen in a long time. I loved how she was moving her hands...super cute!

  • 17 is in the works! The octave work in the others are still prohibitive.

  • Thanks, very glad that you enjoyed this! Anna has a pretty incredible memory. She also has memorized a Haydn sonata, Chopin etude, and is learning a Beethoven sonata!

  • AWESOME but i have a question: this recital was after the lessons with lang lang??

  • This was recorded before the Lang Lang lesson.

  • Hi =) Really Great :) A very enjoyable performance!!! :) 5*

  • Great job! You inspire many pianists.

  • Phenomenal! Great work Anna!

  • Thanks for watching! It was a big job putting all the pieces together :)

  • Wow Anna, very nice. Looks like your piano education is coming along really well! Best wishes.

  • Thanks for watching! this is a great piece, we highly recommend it for you if you haven't studied it.

  • It's a great performance (All Mov of Mozart Piano Concerto No. 23 )!

Bravo, Anna! You are wonderful young pianist!

  • Thank you!

  • We'll see, I hope you're right!

  • Bravissimo!

  • Ottimo. Bravissime*****

  • Very well played, bravo! 5*!

  • wow...great job Anna. although you worked on this movement alone, it's sounds the best and it really stands out the most out of the 3 movements :)

  • Thank you! The hard part is playing the fast tempo so it still sounds beautiful and effortless. That was the goal.

  • Tell me about it. Wonderful job, Anna.

  • Wonderful! I am very impressed!!

I just loved your adorable movements to this piece. Keep up the great work Anna!

    -Bethany

  • Anna, that was superb. Fantastic all three movements. It is evident that you have both worked hard to get that all together for one sitting. Great work. And I just love your little conducting preludes to your segments. Terrific andf so original. LOvely.

    In tune

    Lalita

  • Yes, it was a lot of work to be prepared for all three movements. I'm glad you liked the conducting! It was just good fun.

  • Wow, great job Anna! Charlie only get one movement done (another concerto) while you already got a full one! Great performance and great learning!

  • Thanks! It is difficult to do a full concerto. You understand like us that with only a one hour lesson, it's impossible to study an entire concerto in high level of detail. It takes 30 minutes to play it, leaving only 30 minutes left for the lesson! Most of their work together was on the first movement, and Anna learned the other two movements on her own.

  • Excelente Anna, te felicito.

  • One can only be very admirative when listening to Anna's performance. She is doing a tremendous job, technicaly and musicaly. She really gives life to that Finale and one must not forget that this Concerto in A Major is the most beautifull ever composed by Mozart and we have all heard some great pianist perform this work. I only regret the"second piano" and I am longing to see and hear Anna play this Concerto with an orchestra!

  • Thanks for your thoughtful comments and listening! I hope some day Anna will be able to play with an orchestra too. To be fair, this was only the third time they ever played the piece together. Also, I should have invited a professional teacher/coach to listen to them together for some coaching. It didn't occur to me. We all learned something from this!

  • Really great playing, Anna! I know I shouldn't laugh, but it was so funny to watch the uncooperative sheet music misbehaving for your accompanist. It seemed to have a ghostly presence and a mind of its own. Fortunately, it didn't bother you at all, and your accompanist handled it. It was a fine way to finish off Mozart. 5 BIG stars and two thumbs way up!

  • Thanks! The Schirmer editions don't stay open very well. I know Schirmer is a heresy among the professionals, but it's priced for people on a budget!

  • Agree....they just need a cat to run through and it'd be perfect, right?

  • Hmmm... Maybe there was a ghostly feline presence behind the sheet music. I know that's ahppened to you (MaryRuth72) before, and it makes a great show.

  • Thanks! Anna had to prepare and work hard to deliver all three in a single sitting. This is also the first time she's ever done anything like this before, so a learning experience on playing together, listening, balance, etc etc.
