Reminds me of my first and very odd team, Sceptile, Shiny Spinda, Wailord, Gardevior, Flygon, and Swellow. Sceptile cuzit was my starter, Spinda cuz it was shiny, wailord cuz i caught one in the wild, Gardevior because Wally had one, Flygon czu it was my first trade, and swellow cuz it was the first pokemon I found. *sigh* good times (How the heck do I remember these things?)

It reminded me of the fun I had in the days of playing through Hoenn in elementary school, whether it was with Torchic or Treeko! I've recently gotten back into Pokemon after neglecting it since B/W's release, and all of this nostalgia of the good ol' days with Pokemon when nothing else mattered is pretty special to me!

Anyone who thinks gen 3 sucks REALLY needs to compare it to the newer versions. Gen 3 had WAY better pokemon (Milotic, wailord, aggron, metagross, manectric, skitty, mightyena, and gardiovoir, just to name a few) and the region was BEAST. It had everything from deserts to so much ocean you could actually get LOST AT SEA. And Emerald's Battle Fronteir was so much better than Platinum's. I miss the battle Dome. (Dude, Skotein, do gen 3's Battle Fronteir theme. It sounds awesome.) =)

This would make an interesting ending to a Ruby and Sapphire movie.

I usually don't listen to remixes in general of some of the more quiet and peaceful songs Pokemon has (ex. Littleroot and Verdanturf), since they tend to detract from that original feeling of the nostalgia that the original version had... but you took the beauty of the original and amplified it.
