I'm pretty sure this was also shown about 1984/5 in the UK as well. I remember seeing it about 10.30am when I was off school during the summer holidays.

Memories of mornings during the summer holidays come flooding back. The only episode I remember was this guy who was triple jointed or something and could stretch his body into weird positions.

Hi md63ki2, as far I know this show was only on during the summers of both 1989 & 1990. I don't ever remember it being on in summer 1991, when Glenn Kinsey was presenting CITV mornings, but it may well have been. Does anyone know for sure? Anyway, what a great show it was with a brilliant theme tune!...

Hi @crunkbeatz, yes it's a great theme tune isn't it? Why didn't they release it as a single in the UK back in '89/'90? With all things Australian doing really well at that time, I'm sure it would've been a hit in the charts.

cant believe this is on here!!! this sums up my summer holidays in the early 90's simply great, didn't they run it twice? i seem to recall ollie the ox being on before it during my summer hols. ive got every episode on vhs, ill try and rip it and upload. oh to be back there, long hot summers they were the days. wish i had a time machine :)

Id love it if someone had an episode of good old Just for the Record to post up! I never missed an episode- I remember certain topics they covered in it.

As for Ox Tales- Im nearly sure that was the summer of 91,when that was on? Along with other shows like Good morning Miss Bliss,and Adventures on Kythera- which had Sophie from Home and Away in it.Anyone remember that one?

Does anyone remember Adventures on Kythera? LOVED that show but no one seems to have it ANYWHERE on the net or tube.

The beauty of these days is we could switch over to C4 and watch Pugwall,Bettys Bunch,Biker Mice,Ramona, Kid n Play BBC had TMNT THE WEEKENDS HAD LIVE AND KICKING.. i could go on jeez THE MEMORIES!!

I remember Adventures on Kythera very well- that was from the summer of 91. I can still hear the theme song in my head.

Does anybody remember,or have footage of The Haunted School? It was on citv on the summer mornings around this time of Just for the Record here,and it was set in Australia in the 1800s I think. It was a short series- a handful of episodes.

I loved "The Haunted School". It was a TV version of Carol Drinkwater's novel set in the Australian outback. A woman sets up an English style school in what used to be the town inn. Speculation is rife in the town that the building is dangerous, having already claimed two lives. Carol Drinkwater's character faced a lot of opposition from the locals. I would love to see this again.

Ive mentioned this before,but do you remember The Haunted School,from CITV summer mornings at that time? It was an Australian mini series,set in the 1800s I think.

I've very very fond memories of '90,when this was on those summer mornings.

I recall one episode of this,where the presenter,Garry Who took a spin on the highest roller coaster in the world.

The Haunted School,Vickey the Viking- they were other shows on that time aswell.
