@dumbman2006 I've gotta agree. Every time Taker returns & challenges, it's for the World Title. Even if its holder is on Smackdown, and not the "flagship" show Raw, Taker always goes for the world title. It does look more prestigious than the WWE title imo. The WWE ttitle looks gaudy. As if it's trying too hard to get your attention, hence all the flash. Or maybe since Cena is always in WWE title contention, they don't want Taker to take it from him cuz then the kids will get made Cena lost.

cena saw his career flash right in front of his eyes.. but lucky undertaker chose batista! this shows undertaker wanted a moderate competitor dat doesn't suck as much and beatable at the main event. although taker could have picked lashley, but he knew it'd be tough to beat him cuz good both ways, technically and physically. lashley would've been a real challenge. Its like u've got cena that sucks, batista thats moderate, lashley better than both.

I remember watching this in 2007 and it was great. This happened the night after the Royal Rumble in 2007 when Undertaker won. Back in June 2005 when Batista got drafted to Smackdown, I predicted that Batista was going to encounter the Undertaker sometime down the road in the possible future when they were both on Smackdown. I said that will never happen. Then two years later, Batista is World Champion, Undertaker wins the 2007 Royal Rumble and they clash at Wrestlemania 23. Great Epic Match.
