  • for some reason.. I expected like 99% of all these comments about her being hot and the cleavage part..

Seriously guys.. come on.. I mean, sure, she's gorgeous.. but I think she knows already.. so.. just saying..

  • thumps up if you don't stop seeing her boobs !!! pretty

  • WOW you are so hot sweetie ...;)

  • did she say something

  • you should shutdown your computer if your not using it, it gets too overheated if u put it to sleep or hibernate...

  • omg so sexy

  • your computer was crashing because it was out of memory. The dollar signs were cash memory and it was using that memory because the ram was used up. U probably had too much spyware and trojans on your computer slowing everything down to a snail's pace. Get some mcafee software onto your laptop and have it run scans and you'll be fine in the future. Also, there is software online for recovering lost files.

  • my GOD .YOU ARE SO SEXY .

  • Well Karla im nearly in the same boat as you welll kinda but i my hard drive died. try doing it in safe mode? press f8 when it starting up see if it works! you could try for the system restore, didn't even work for me came up. the installed programme cannot run. press ok to shut down computer. so annoying!!! >:( Have ya went ddown to any off the computer shops to see what they say?

  • Shoulda bought a mac! :p My 5 cents!

Would just reinstall windows vista again and clear the whole lot. I cant get ya a fellas number who might look at it for ya? Give me a shout sure if ya want!

  • Just no.....................!!!!!!!!!!

  • If you have another copy of windows from someone you know reinstall you should have a product key either on the machine or with the inards it came with. If after that it still doesn't work as it should it would seem you need a new HDD good luck.

  • press the shift key 5 times and you hear a noise, do you get a popup asking if you want to turn sticky keys on? If you do, click the link in the center that says "go to the ease of access center to disable the keyboard shortcut". it will open a new window. In this window, you can type c: into the address bar and you will get an Explorer window. go to c:\windows\ and launch explorer.exe. if that doesnt work just message me i had the same problem a couple of months ago and had to futter with it

  • restart, then press F8 loads , screen comes up then try and run it in windows safe mode- or manged mode.

  • That sucks, my laptops motherboard died the day before i had a final paper due.

Have you backed up the data on cd's or dvd's. You could try to see if that works.

  • P.S - Though I heard you say something about the laptop being a Fujitsu Siemens? If so, try tapping F8 at boot and see if you can see the option called "advanced boot options", select it and then there should be the option labelled "repair your computer".

From there you could just try to repair it, or you could just wipe it and start from fresh but you will loose everything you have saved on the laptop if you choose this option.

  • WOAH!!! You have an awesome accent!!

  • Try going to: forums. techarena. in/vista-setup-install/664710. htm (remove spacing obv)

  • You just want it to work again no matter what (read: format), or you want to keep all your files and such?

  • Unlucky lol the amount of computers i have fucked in the years! this time I bought a laptop + had an old desktop for some backup when I fucked over the laptop!

  • Oh and uhhhhhm....cleavage =P

  • The old style boxes were there cause you have it on performance...it turns off all the cool looking bits.

    You said dump LOL

If you got a system recovery disc...whack that in.

If not turn it on and press F12 LOADS!

If it doesn't work then skype me...it's on my channel. <3

  • What make is the laptop?

You should have a built in recovery option which will allow you to re-install Vista.

The re-install can be either a destructive on non-destructive, which means if you choose destructive you will loose any information that you have on the laptop.

Getting in to the recovery option will depend on what make the laptop is, you could try the usual keys which is F8,F9,F10,F11 or F12, just keep tapping them during the boot up.

  • Do you have Ubuntu? its an OS that you can run off a disk so you can sort out your comp from there. Try get your hand on a new OS cd don't bother buying a new one you'll get someone to copy windows or something for you!

  • go to pc world and get it fixed, better to get it fixed than to fuck it up even more unless it costs a billzillion euro

  • @ROH4LIFE91 we dont have a pc world near...nor do i have the cash to take it somewhere!

  • @Karlalarla theres one in derry of the cresent link roundabout, im going to that one to fix up my laptop

  • @ROH4LIFE91 didn't even think about derry :O u been there before, are they good?

  • @Karlalarla i havent been there yet, must go next week after i finish exams for college but i know someone who was talking to them and he said they were good to deal with

  • @Karlalarla nope there really expensive and if you havent bought the computer off them they are even more expensive.

  • Awwk Karla babes, breaks my heart to see you in that situation. Anyway. The main problem here is "bad sectors on your harddrive". Hold WindowsKey+R a wee box will pop up, fire in "cmd" a black screen will come up with white text. type "chkdsk /r or /p" can remember but one of them shud work, it mite say "blahblah do you wanna do it on start up" Bios has nothin to do with your problem. Actually, take to me on skype i will help you out. =) I dont see why you dont talk me when u have problems

  • @antorobertson hmmm! sounds good, i'ma give it a go now! It's not that I chose not to talk to u when i have problems but I just don't wanna be like...a user or only talking to u when I need help?! I'm the kind of person who would rather starve instead of ask someone for money for food so I guess it kinda comes across the same on here...but I'm gonna give this a go anyway and let u know how I get on :)

  • @Karlalarla i like to help people =), so anytime at all Karla.

  • @antorobertson didn't work...can see for about a split second a screen black & white that says like, 'All Rights Reserved' and stuff so I guess it's a little 'about' screen but right back to the flashing, if i do press 'windows&r' it makes a noise...! tried it in bios and the same thing...:L aah christ!

  • @Karlalarla No need for anything to do with the bios in this case. If you can get on skype i can talk ya through it no problem like.

  • if i was there i could fix it for ya, im useless giving help by instruction :(

on the plus side, you are beautiful any time of day! x

  • @ChrisGwynne ahaha awwh thanks :)

  • Right, I have no idea about computers but it looks like you're in a pretty shit situation. I'm guessing you've gone on someone else internet and googled the problem but if you need more help, go to an IT section in your college and ask them about it. It could save you a few bob as well if they're nice enough to help ya!

  • @Bazzer239 My college is so crap, they don't even do IT! but thanks for the suggestion:)
