I lived with DV from my mom then my wife, if this was true that men are the only ones then how is it I got it twice being a man. Abuse is a complex issue. I lived next door to a woman who woukld verbally and phsycially abuse her boyfriend until he snapped and hit her. Five minutes later they were having loud sex. It was foreplay for her. She needed to be beaten and abused to feel like a real woman. She was also a teacher.
My ex girlfriend used to abuse me because I refused to hit her back. So If that makes me a wimp or whatever I don't care but I will say this....she did get the help she needed and now she's pretty cool so there is hope for anyone if they actually persevere through it

An adult woman, all the while physically weaker than an adult male, possesses the same judgment as an adult male. Abuse is a complex issue. I lived next door to a woman who woukld verbally and phsycially abuse her boyfriend until he snapped and hit her. Five minutes later they were having loud sex. It was foreplay for her. She needed to be beaten and abused to feel like a real woman. She was also a teacher.

My ex girlfriend used to abuse me because I refused to hit her back. So If that makes me a wimp or whatever I don't care but I will say this....she did get the help she needed and now she's pretty cool so there is hope for anyone if they actually persevere through it

Why don't they have a woman version of these? It's not always men, but in a lot of cases, yes it is. Which is saddening to see babies grow up to be boys, then teenagers, and into asshole men.

Wait.. the way I see it, guys are more abused by women than the other way around. I think it just doesn't "count" as domestic abuse because guys won't admit that they were getting abused by the spouse.
