Automatic Pig Murder Machine (Minecraft)

I found the pig cage and diamond pickaxed it to death.

It didn't get added to my inventory. Was I supposed to build the pigocaust machine around the cage rather than try to take it?

now the lava method doesnt work as well after the halloween update caus the pigs always float on top of the lava and if hey die, the drops also gets burned.

@MrJamiemarks It's infinite, so why do I need to stockpile it? I don't want it to fill up my entire inventory whenever I accidentally get too close, and too many piled together can cause lag.

@SuperShadow The lava is optional and isn't 100% effective. The drowning part is what's important.

Isn't it easier if you can make a super high tower and plant the spawners all the way to the top, and make it so the pigs fall to their death?

It'll then be a "meat room" rather than a processing plant lol.
