sounds like a fucking popcorn snare man, let it breathe, tune it a bit lower and btw Adrian's snare is a 14x6 that looks like a 14x5 I think, I got a white one with the same specs and everything 10 ply maple, white gloss hardware, etc and it cost me $100 less, I wasn't going to pay 100 bucks more for a different wrap, however you've got a really nice snare drum there, just at least let it breathe a little bit more, you'll notice the difference, loosen the strainer a little bit too

This sounds so good! I envy you so much right now haha Honestly I think a lot has to do with how you have it tuned. Im not saying its a bad snare but I know its an over priced snare that gets a lot of hype just for the brand name. OCDP snare generally sound better at a higher tuning.

sounds like a generic snare tightened, no tone no body, try it with a medium or low tension, because it's not a piccolo and you're killing the real sound of it with that excessive tension, cheers.

@twentybensonplease are you kidding. there is so much high end ring off that. i still does sound good though. but why does everyone think that your drums are supposed to not resonate at all. my friend has a nice peral kit that he mutes so that it doesnt rezo at all and it sounds like pots and pans. all im saying is let your drums breath.
