I have a question. I ordered a Free Mcbooted memory card (no need to buy the 007 game, ...) but can I use a free mcbooted memory card like a normal one or would the exploit be gone after I save a game ? I guess not...

Hello Sir,I use a Ps2 with matrix chip, to load the Codebreaker, and I install the MCboot and works perfect, now I´m trying other applications, like SMS or the emulators Snes and Sega, but It freezes at screen config, I got the ps2 hooked with component cable,I can´t try on normal CRT TV...and I don´t have the standard RCA composite...I also try the usb advance, but not all the games work, I like more the OPENPS2loader to play via network, I dunno If I have bad luck but NFSU2 didn´t work, thanks

@kingcoapa Does seem like an odd issue, are you using this on the same ps2 you have your chip in? Because this is a chip alternative, running two mods might be your problem

Sorry for my bad english...I have a ps2slim 75010 with no mod chip, I´ll manage to get borrowed my cousins ps2slim modded with matrix chip, my question is this, in the modded(matrix ps2) can I load a copied codebreaker cd and copy the loader and freemcboot (via pendrive) on to the MC, and then take that MC to use it in my unmodded( no chip) ps2 slim, the copied(backed up) games will load?...thanks dude!

I dont know about gamestates but if you boot into luanchelf you can use that as a file browser to move files from memory card to flash drive and then move your new emulator over

Free mcboot should work on both.. maybe the game you have is ntsc you'll need to get a pal copy

No, this is the mod, its a softmod so things like this can be done without having to open your ps2..

So, no it doesnt need to modded, in this video your taking an unmodded ps2 and modding it

3. burn at 4x with imgburn

4. use only high quality media dvd-r only

there are other ways but you'll only be able to play modded games and psx games on your ps2... and its bad for your ps2 because you need to swap the disc while its running.

no, all the code is stored on your memory card, nothing touches the bios/any other information stored on the ps2 like the eeprom in the psp
