  • The Italians seemed to have lost their ear and spirit for beautiful music after the baroque period. Their music compositions in the rennaisance and baroque periods, are absolutely amazing.

  • @Viatriste It is my opinion too.

  • @Viatriste Nonesense

  • @montallio In a relative sense. Verdi was a great composer. However the Italian people, through infighting and bitter struggles between city states, and subsequently being taken over by European powers, suffered culturally. No country has the time, and the energy to produce great works of art while foreign armies are rampaging and looting over their lands

  • @Viatriste Interesting theory, however the same holds true for many other European countries and they (also) produced beautiful music. Italy was the focus of musical culture for at least 3 periods in history baroque, rennaisance and romantic (Rossini, Verdi, Puccini). Perhaps you prefer the earlier output, but to say they have lost their ear afterwards seems rather harsh.

  • I must admit. I like this song even though I am not Italian, I learned Italian and can be glad to boast about knowing this song..lol

  • Merely Wonderful. Thank you for this posting!

  • I've been looking for this record - can you tell me what record company produced this?

  • Ce minunatie! Sa le dea Dumnezeu sanatate ca ne fac cinste peste tot. Marin Constantin este unic, fantastic!
