Aww, sweet, I love Sonic Adventure. I believe it was my first Dreamcast game, besides Crazy Taxi. I spent many countless hours of my youth busily engaged in SA. Which would you say is your least favorite character Big, or Amy?
Oooh, now that's a tough one! Amy tends to be a massive pain in the arse at the best of times, but I think Big wins it, just because his voice is (amazingly) more irritating than Amy's ("FROGGGYYYYYYY!" - No. Just...no) and his entire story is little more than an extended fishing mini-game. Seriously, FISHING! WHY?!
So yeah, definitely Big. I'm so glad they relegated him to the background in every game since, so we can ignore him if we want.
It's so hard to resist singing "SEGAAAAAAAA!" at the beginning of any Sonic game, isn't it?
I love Open Your Heart, especially this version with the big epic intro. I love most of the Crush 40 Sonic songs, though.
I won't be doing the Advance series because they're handheld games, which are hard to record without using emulators, which I don't generally like using.
And I know Sonic 3D Blast was the first, but shush. It's the first 3D game in MY series :p
For the Advance games, if you have a DS you can play them on there. As for recording, they're as cables to connect the DS to a TV screen, so you could use those to connect to a capture card, presumably ^_^
I've actually done some research, and all I can find is people asking how they can feed their DS into the TV, but no actual solutions, apart from some rare equipment that only journalists and play-testers can get hold of. I've already had my suspicions due to a lack of line-outs on the DS.
I still say Nintendo need to bring out a DS player channel for the Wii. They've done similar things before, after all. If only I had a GBA and a Gamecube, that'd solve all my problems...
The Wii needs a 3DS Player attachment that allows you to play 3DS and DS games on the big screen just like you could play GB, GBC, and GBA games on the big screen with the Gamecube's GB Player. It sucks that whenever I play DS games I have to play them on the small screen. Sometimes I wish I could play them on my television for once.
OH NO, my LPs are crossing over into each other! Holy shit!
But yeah, you are right, Chaos does bear a striking resemblance to Sin in the opening movie. I'm sure that thought's crossed my mind before, actually.
This game does have an awesome feel to it. It's definitely one of my favourites. I've had so much fun recording this LP in fact.
I haven't heard of that game, actually, but I might check it out. Just because you asked so nicely :p
Apparently it's on the Virtual Console so I should be able to get hold of it AND record it. But I'll probably throw it in as an extra at some point if it's only going to take 4 videos! I'll look into it.
I loved Sonic Adventure when I was younger! I beat that game so many times, it wasn't even funny!

SEGA-A-A! At least I'm not the only one who sings it when the game doesn't. =P
This and the sequel are actually my favourite Sonic games. xD And the music during the video rocks! =D
Oh! Are you going to be doing the Sonic Advance games?
OH! And Sonic 3D on the Megadrive and Saturn was the first 3D one. =P

I haven't encountered any cables that you can connect the DS to a TV with. Any idea where I might be able to get them from?
Bobthepetferret 2 years ago
Not sure where to get it in England, but I can get it over here from any shop that sells DS stuff in general.
Perhaps GAME or Gamestation?

1:09 OMGWTFBBQ it's Sin!!!11
So Yu Yevon made it out after all..
Also, gotta love the contrast between the Sonic cast and the background graphics in that prerendered cutscene XD
I do like the feel of this game, it's fun to watch sonic whiz around in 3D.

*gasp* Its actually the only sonic game I enjoyed playing when i was a kid my brother had it on his game gear and I used to "borrow" it quite a lot.

My excuse for not knowing is that I haven't paid much attention to the Game Gear/Master System releases :p
But I'll think about giving it a go, seeing as it's your childhood favourite and all. You'll have to be very nice to me, though :p

No. I actually said at the beginning of the video that I'm playing the Gamecube version :p
