I found out the best tactic was to have a Ridier army for the Holy Roman Empire and just circle those elephants LOTR style (but with guns) and take em down while they're moving.

@Spec0pleader There is just the one campaign, but you can pick which of the factions you want to play. Not all are available at first. You can defeat the locked factions to unlock them, or like me you just go and edit a text file in the game and unlock them that way.

Timurids are a highly unkown culture, believed to be broken nomads from the Turks, they advanced north, conquering as they went, destroying everything in their path. I don't really like the Timurids. Not as a people but as a faction. They''re armies like the mutant offspring of the Mongols and the Turks. They have the quality Mongol cavalry but the rest of their units are mediocre at best. Most of their infantry is made up of low end Turkish militia. Cannon fodder...

Their only "original" units are their elephants.
