@steverooni99 A "war resolution" is not the same as a declaration of war...in fact it's a way for congress to "pass the buck". A resolution gives power to the president to go to war in the future if he deems it nessacary. In other words, congress abdicting their resposibility for declaring it. That way if somehting goes wrong, congress can say "hey, I didnt mean for him to go to war unless there was no other option", so they dont have to take blame, you see? Un-constitutional.

@steverooni99 A "war resolution" is not the same as a declaration of war...in fact it's a way for congress to "pass the buck". A resolution gives power to the president to go to war in the future if he deems it nessacary. In other words, congress abdicting their resposibility for declaring it. That way if somehting goes wrong, congress can say "hey, I didnt mean for him to go to war unless there was no other option", so they dont have to take blame, you see? Un-constitutional.

@missymcr3 Mountains of solid evidence reveals a truth that's much more heinous than your version: they didn't fail to protect us: they were the ones who orchestrated it. The warnings were real, but I believe they were an elaborate set-up for them to use to their advantage. It's much better to be guilty of being incompetent nincompoops than to be guilty of treason and mass murder. They'd just claim "No one showed me a report-I didn't know an attack was coming!" or "I forgot to read it, oops!"
