It all comes back to manipulation of our currency's value by the FEDERAL RESERVE and the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. China and India couldn't manipulate their currencies if the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT put our dollar back on the gold standard.

What if most of the good paying jobs is outsourced? And, services & merchandise are available to Americans at cheaper prices. Who will buy it? What will we be doing? How long the prices will remain lower? How long will the dollar be in demand by the countries who have the jobs? Will we all become salespeople and fixing the plumbing, or landscaping? Probably, then we would not really need to get higher education in Scientific & technological fields.

There are a lot of reasons why the economy is the way it is, but GREED is the #1 reason. I agree we need to pay those who risk their lives/save lives way better.

If a company is making it's money off Americans then it should employ Americans. Exporting job means importing living standards from where you've off-shored to. The inability of the economists to face reality is the greatest shortcoming of mankind. The most silly way to look at things is to think "Customers" are not "Suppliers" when in fact customers and suppliers are always the same. Without supplying there is no income to be a customer. Why doesn't those "experts" realize that fact?

More High paying employment in today's world emanates from high tech jobs & expertise in specialized areas.
