This game is wonderful too, and it is true it could have happened to us during 1989. It definitely was about the time we were fighting in Europe to keep our Allies safe. Remember the fall of the Berlin Wall? That was in the early 1980's, well Russia could have very well invaded us, but they didn't and our Navy was overseas in Europe stationed there to prevent further issues that were brought up in World War II, and the Korean War also. It could have happened, but thankfully it didn't.

The USSR has always been scared of USA and the last thing that wanted was a war with them, also if they would have won it. USA have started like 4-5 wars around the world after WW2, Russia/USSR just started one in Afganistan, and was not a war officially.
