Verse 28 states that he told them to be fruitful and multiply. @perydwyn No, what you call race is actually variation in color. There is only one race--the human race. To prove my point, in America, a Mexican, Asian, and Indonesian people (to name a few) can be White. Ask the Birth Certificate office if this is true. America has a caste system, but won't admit to it. To my knowledge the only group that can't be labeled as White are Black-Americans.

@perydwyn,well as far as i am concern race was never used to distinguish people in the bible.Colors and Physical Characteristics were never used to separate people because God Knows that all the peoples of the earth are a single family and have one common origin-Adam-who was created by God in his image.

@venrowill So adam and eve had kids and then those kids had their own incest kids and so on.Then somehow from that we get all the different ethnicities on the planet,white,black,asian,native american etc.While the bible does not speak of different ethnicities it certainly condones and in fact promotes slavery on numerous occasions.Ultimately this discussion is fairly pointless since there is no proof that god exists in the first place making all of the bible irrelevant.

@cobrakev1 Adam and Eve lived a very long life..Adam lived 964 years and must had a great number of sons and daughters.God told them to populate the earth.Adam and Eve's families were the first family so they must be genetically pure-any mutant genes must be absent.Incest is dangerous because inherited mutant genes produces deformity. No danger to the first and second generations of Adam.Different ethnicity arise after the tower of babel when God separated families according to their language.

Also, languages didnt spontaniously arrive from god. The languages of the world developed (dare i use the word evloved lol). This is observable today...where subtle variations of language develop among communities. For example, the english language has changed dramatically in a matter of only 100 years. Study linguistics, study science, study history...all these are rea subjects based on reality, unlike the teachings of archaic and mistranslated books. Grow up people.

The comforting thing is that thought like this is dieing very rapidly. Religious belief is disapearing all the time. I know a lot of people, none of which believe in a god, and they are no worse for their lack of belief. The only places on earth where religious belief is thriving is where education isnt available to all, or where people are socially gullible. The only 'christians' I have met have been 'christian' merely in name. They onlygo to church on special occasions because it is tradition.

the quote near the end from Ezekiel is reminiscent of The Lost Books of the Bible, in which the Holy Mountain where Adam and Eve's offspring lived up to the Flood, protected them from Cain's trash offspring. this is of course up to the reader to belief. i personally do believe it but i'll get no help from the evolutionist or the Christian as it's outside of the Bible.
