I love it when thay say "Police are trying to determine wether or not any charges will be filed against the victim" When in all reality they should be givin a freaking medal or something for taking out the trash.

If you are an armed citizen, please don't jump to conclusions. I expect more from you. If a robber has established a pretty clear routine of breaking into numerous vehicles over a few nights and no houses, I would hope the police would investigate the reason for the change in behavior.

I would also must commend this and other such news agencies that cover these types of stories and don't spin a story like they are sure of what has happened. If they aren't sure yet, they should say so.

In the state of TN he had the right to use deadly force on the intruder even if the intruder was not armed. No charges can be filed on the homeowner.
