I first experienced Joseph's music at Womadelaide a few years ago.  A great concert on the Moreton Bay fig stage - great music, a few jokes and a wonderful atmosphere. Wonderful to have recordings like this available, and his CDs. Just hope he comes back to Adelaide again soon.

This is where every musician wants to be: so great in his technique and knowledge that the "mechanics" of physically playing no longer hinder his/her music ideas. The energy just flows from the players mind, right out to the audience.

Its a skill in and of itself to make it look that effortless.
