  • get rid of the egg yolks.....

  • @naterv11 Common misconception, egg yolks are vilified so much in modern society due to their fat content, but in actual fact if you take out of the yolk you're removing a huge amount of the protein from the egg, (2/3rds of the protein usually), not to mention you remove all the good fat soluble vitamins (A, K etc) and vital amino acids such as Cysteine.

Obviously don't include the yolk from every egg but its not healthier to have pure egg whites. Hope this helped to educate in some way :)

  • It's so easy to share with someone. Go for it!

  • @OneFeistyScorpio it's healthy if u are comparing it to a egg mcmuffin combo X 2. fatty, high in cholesterol and preservatives. But it does look good.

  • thats just an omlet...

  • if thats deli meat, try to stay away from processed meats

  • mm chicken have more proteen than beef/cow????...

  • bison meat is best

  • it has a different kind of protien, its good to get protien from every kind of meat, such as red meat and white mean

  • depends, it certainly has differnet kind of protein

  • I need more than 120g protein daily ... thanks for sharing this Big Bear!

    ^_^

  • 3 eggs.... i think that very very bad

  • absolutely nothing wrong with consuming UP TO 3 eggs a day.

  • More than 3000mg of cholesterol. I think there's something wrong with that. I'm probably just saying this because I don't like eggs.

  • so i hear that dinosaur eggs do contain about that much cholesterol, but regular whole, hard-boiled eggs only contain about 425mg of cholesterol which adds up to about 1275mg of chol per 3 whole, hard-boiled eggs... not all that bad really.

  • Hmmm well I read on nutritiondata that it contains more... oh well, I still think 1275mg is a lot.

  • well buddy, sometimes bad nutrients are just what you need to get through the day. no food is perfect. its just some are higher in cholesterol and some lower, etc.

  • As long as it's not every day you eat those foods. I try never to eat them just because I know they're bad for me. There was one food I came across that I thought was pretty close to perfect, and that's savoury yeast flakes.

  • Ya, never really used yeast flakes, I am not much of a big fan of high sodium foods, but I'm glad you like it.

  • Well, if otherwise you eat a diet fairly low in sodium it won't have a bad effect on your health.

  • As well as with foods of high cholesterol, such as eggs, if otherwise you eat low cholesterol foods, it wont have a bad effect on your health :).

  • No, I just think eggs have too much cholesterol. Having a little bit over the DRI (500mg) of sodium isn't as harmful, but the average American usually has 20 times the necessary intake.

If you eat an egg a day, then your cholesterol levels will rise, which is not good unless you can adequately balance it out. Even then the extra cholesterol will have negative effects on your health.

But as well as eggs having a lot of cholesterol, they also have a relatively large amount of fat.

  • looks good. i might try this big bear :)

  • is this guy for real it might be high protein but the thing is dripping in high sodium levels and high cholesterol, that stuff will kill ya

  • big bear likes a little hot sauce ha ha ha. Fuckin Americans!

  • corned beef usualy high in sodium or any deli meat as they ususaly ad a sodium brime to it for shelf life / flavor.

  • looks good. I'm sure its taste good too. but its not very heathy

  • this is titled lowcarb how many carbs in the torillas and grapes?

  • Hi Douger here, Here is another recipe for you with high protein and fiber. Give lot of fuel for a good work out.

    3 eggs

1/4 dry quacker oat oatmeal in a bowl

add season salt or whater seasoning you like.

    Mix all the ingredience together.

cook in pan just like a pan cake. You can add butter or whatever afer done.

390 calories. around 37grams of protein.

Its great before a great work out, try it let me know how you like it.

    Peace and LOVE to ya

  • You HAVE to love the gas stove.

I cannot cook on electric very well.

Eggs do not hurt you as much as people think if you have naturally low cholesterol...

I call my version of this, "Jerry's Atkins EggYummy"

  • mothvenom "high protein rocks :) "

Yeah, high protein does cause rocks- gallstones... Enjoy!

  • lol looks great i see brendon is being a big bola bola huh thats cute you guys rock love ya's (oh my did i say that hehehe SURE DID )GOD BLESS U ALL

  • Gotta try that this weekend!

  • I warn you. It's high in protein, so very filling for the stomach (which, by the way) spends most of it's energy digesting protein), so you might want to start with only one roll-up, or cut back on some of the ingredients.

  • Hi Bigbearron

That looks yummy. Can you tell me the name of the cheese again? Don't think we have them in the uk. Can I use different cheese? Thanks

  • "Colby Jack," which is a blend (as the name implies) of Monterrey Jack and Colby, is the cheese I used. Any cheese that would melt nicely, and be delicious in an omelet, would make a good choice.

  • I use only "REAL" cheese (never the processed sorts or the "cheese foods"). I've found "real" cheeses much more satisfying.

  • i love hot ron, opssss did i say that? i mean hot sauce... hehehe

    always

    brendon

  • Behave yourself, Dear!

  • hehehe... sorry :(
