Winged planet? No. An image caused by there being too much light focused onto a cluster of CCDs in SOHO's camera. Bear in mind that a lot of ancient depictions of the planets showed them as having wings, since that IS the only way they knew to fly way back then. An extra planet plowing through the asteroids would cause mayhem for the terrestrial planets, but not one renegade asteroid has been found. Hence, no Nibiru

Those are planets. That camera pointed at the sun is configured to see very very dim objects. It's purpose is to detect large solar wind streams that flow from the sun, and they are very dim. The planets are so bright compared to the background that they are creating what are called "artifacts". The light coming from those 2 objects is so strong that it leaks (electronically) into the "row" of pixels being scanned. It's a very normal phenomena. Don't be disappointed. the wings in the ancient summerian saga means that the planet mouves slowly in the sky and isn't static, not that the planet have wings and fly as a bird.

@BrunaFier I thought those "wings" were actually describing the debris that was being carried along with it. Thus the reason for the wings b/c it appeared as if it had wings.

i took a picture of the sun today on my samsung juke phone and it had a liitle lookin sun on the side but i think it was a glare but in the middle of the sun it showed like a purple ball. i dont know what it is. if you want me to send you the pic to examine i can email it to you.
