I have to agree. Man this has to be one of the coldest Bass riffs I've ever heard! Does anybody know who the bass player is? I'm talkin cold Bass player. When I 1st heard this song I knew I had to learn it on my bass and one day I'm going to post me jamming this song on YouTube now, I ain't saying I will be cold like this cat who is playing but I will play it to the best of my ability. I have lived in Mississippi all of my life, but never had the chance to see the MS Mass Choir live. Their music is moving and I find myself up given God praises when ever I listen to one of their songs. My favorite song is He can fix what is broke. My God continue to bless each and every member of the choir.

there was nothing wrong with the mike. he was getting hoarse. That's why the other song he did is not on the video, He was completely hoarse by the time we sang it. He had to go in the studio and do the song for the album. im talking about " God will fix it."

The entire video is voice over.  We had to do God gets the glory twice at the end because they ran out of tape the recording as a whole was so long. We didn't leave the Coliseum until 4 in the morning after this recording.

I understand because I have the DVD of this recording, and, when I look at, you have It Came To Pass being at least an hour long because of the praising of the saints, then you have Rev. Benjamin Cone with his sermontte, then you have the intermission when the choir change and put on the other robe or take off the main peice of the robe.

Also, I think this is when the choir was its biggest. I'm talking about the members. Cause I know half of them that's in the choir now, they weren't in the choir for "It Remains To Be Seen". And that takes time for all the members to get off the stage and be back on the stage. So what was the officially last song before you went to intermission? Because the video is really not organized at all.

i love this soing!!! u kno if u watch closely when the male singer begins his lead, the short tenor behind him looks disgusted!!! everytime i watched this vid, that bothered me...then on the album for this concert, that song "God will fix it" wasnt that led by this counter-tenor? it wasnt in the vid tho...sad that he died too...

The reason you see that is because Micheal messed up the song! LOL He brought in the part he did too early We were actually suppose to repeat the first chorus again before he sang his verse.

I'm in the soprano section. That's all i am going to say. LOL if i told you who i was ( name wise) i would be in a world of trouble for revealing out mishaps. BTW it took us a month to learn this song and the night of the recording some choir members still didn't know the break down. LOL

Thank goodness you know the names of the soloists to these songs! I've been trying for the longest time to find out who sings what song because I bought the CD first and the DVD just before Christmas, and the booklet inside the CD doesn't say who sings what, nor does it have the choir roster. Do you know who sings "Be Still," "Star Spangled Banner," and "The Lord Keeps Blessing Me?"

Larrissa Tate the Star Spangled Banner, Be Still Soloists Demetrius Smith, Joyce Hayes, Jan Taylor knight, the lord Keeps on blessing me is Rev Milton Biggham, the choir member was Darryl Smith, i am not a member any more so i can tell you the mishap on that song. Darryl was not suppose to sing on that part. If you ever see the video just look at the Disgust on David Curry's face and it tells it all. We laughed our heads off back stage when David got him together. LOL

She sang Be at home on Emanuel God with us album, also on It wasn't the nails on IT REMAINS TO BE SEEN and Call him up on Mississippi Mass Choir live. Thats who was suppose to come down when Rev Milton Biggham called for a member. Just look at the video and watch David's reaction. It tells it all.
