I drove Chevy's trucks my entire life until I bought an 07 Tundra CrewMax when they came out. 3 years later, it is still exciting to look at it in my driveway. It was tough going away from the big 3, but this is one awesome truck!

@rottietalk and i bet you tow or pull anything you couldn't with the other trucks too. and it is quieter and smoother of a ride. if you want a vehicle with bluetooth and all kinds of new technology by a car not a gm, ford or dodge truck. if you want a TRUCK by a tundra. it doesn't have all the interior bells and whistles that make driving a luxury but then again its not a lexus luxury car either, its a truck.not meant for you to ride in style! its meant to do more than you want it to.

The Tundra crewmax is one of the ugliest, if not the ugliest, trucks out there. First off, it looks like an suv with a bed. The styling is too rotund, and not chisled like Dodge or Ford. The Tundra double cab is alright, but this crewmax...ugggh.

I would rather have a truck that doesnt blow electrical/transmission and have a rusted underbody before 50,000 miles. face it dodge is built very very cheap. Toyota are the number one car manufacturer in the world, they do very well in the craftsman truck series, and will do well in nascar. they make their cars here and do it for less, hence more profit.

Silverado or Avalanche followed by the F150 are the only choices. Not only do they look better and get better mileage, you have less to worry about when it comes to a camshaft snapping. Also, the Tundra's HVAC are goofy.

Get an Avalanche. You get better mileage, better ride, can use E85 as an alternative fuel and when you need an 8 foot bed, just drop the mid-gate.

Oh yeah, and Chevy has been building the 5.3 litre for years without the camshaft snapping.
