I was in Columbus for the game against Wisconsin in 07 and Ohio State was almost upset on their own turf and the fans were so mad that they were actually picking fights with other OSU fans after the game. There's the two team per conference rule for BCS bowls, and the fact that Ohio State was the only remaining one-loss from a major conference, which put them ahead of LSU and UGA in the BCS formula. Since the Sugar has a commitment for an SEC team, UGA was stuck with Hawaii. And honestly I thought that's where we were headed had it not been for Pitt.

bichigan was only able to beat Ohio State when we had John Cooper and practically every other coach except for Woody Hayes and Jim Tressel. And those were the only two good coaches that we had in Ohio State history.

I must agree with you. Although I am a Florida gator fan I lived in Ohio for most of my life. I was in Columbus for the game against Wisconsin in 07 and Ohio State was almost upset on their own turf and the fans were so mad that they were actually picking fights with other OSU fans after the game. I have nothing against Ohio State, but their fans really make the rest of the country hate them.

This clever as hell! BTW I've been an osu fan since i was little. I graduated from OSU as well and all I can say for our fan base is that 90% don't know anything about football. Trust me and I apologize. SEC is the best conference and has been for a long time. Hopefully the Buckeyes get a chance to prove that they belong as an 'elite' program with a win at USC and hopefully a win in the BCS championship game against an SEC team (LSU, FL, or Georgia) It's going to be a great season of cfb.

There's the two team per conference rule for BCS bowls, and the fact that Ohio State was the only remaining one-loss from a major conference, which put them ahead of LSU and UGA in the BCS formula. Since the Sugar has a commitment for an SEC team, UGA was stuck with Hawaii. And honestly I thought that's where we were headed had it not been for Pitt.
