I couldn't help but laugh when the camera zoomed in on the left hand indiscriminately playing incorrect notes more loudly in the section 3:11-3:51. He seemed a tad angry as he covered it up with the damper pedal. I don't blame him; he was almost 90 and blind at the time of this video. He's still the best Chopin interpreter of the 20th Century, especially considering his outstanding playing half a century earlier in his rendition of this Chopin masterpiece.

QUIERO DAR MI MAS HUMILDE OPINION Y CREO QUE ES TAN VALIDA COMO LA DE TODOS... RUBINSTEIN ERA UN MAESTRO.... PERO HAY QUE RECONOCER QUE EN ESTE VIDEO TIENE ALGUNOS ERRORES DE EJECUCION EN LA MANO IZQUIERDA... SOLAMENTE TRATEN DE ESCUCHAR Y VER CON ATENCION EL VIDEO... Y NO LO DIGO PORQUE LO ESTE CRITICANDO EN MAL PLAN.. SIMPLEMENTE PORQUE EL ERA UN SER HUMANDO Y NO ESTABA EXENTO DE ERRORES DE EJECUCION... @gatoperro9 Bueno... no es subir a un pedestal, simplemente es reconocer la magnificencia de uno de los mejores pianistas del siglo XX... es verdad tiene varios errores, pero lo quisiera ver a usted tocar a la edad que tenia en ese momento el señor Rubinstein solo para observar si mantiene aun la digitación y fuerza de cuando era joven, muy valiosa su opinion, pero hay que ver todas las circunstancias antes de opinar.

igual que la mayoria de los que aprendemos a tocar piano al ver la interpretacion de este gran pianista sentimos que el mismo chopin esta tocando para deleite de nosotros y es un reto de gran calidad lograr a interpretar esta maravillosa pieza como un examen final de piano para cualquira que quiera lograr un gran nivel al piano

Al inicio de este video se embarran un poco las notas y aún así esta interpretación (esta en específico) es la mejor que he escuchado de esta pieza, pienso que el mismo Chopin hubiera querido tocarla así.

Tal como dice @GrevenSound el día en que toque esta pieza me podré sentir pleno en mi vida

@valemasquenada Espero que tengas perfectamente definido cuando dices: embarran, pues parece que no sabes y tampoco conoces apreciacion musical. Espero por tu bien estudies un poco el piano, y su misma historia.

Tengo 28 años tocando el piano y jamas habia leido a nadie que dijera embarran, al escuchar musica de maravilloso Arthur.
