  • This is believed to me the last appearance of the famous John Lees polo neck, as first seen on the sleeve of 'Octoberon' 1976.

  • THIS IS FANTASTIC!

  • @JoeViaIity John Lee was still good, but yes, David Gilmour is Gods present to the guitar

  • BJH = close your eyes and enjoy

  • great song and awsome guitar playing

  • en memoire a john lennon super kool

  • Hehe... Not John Lennon... John Lee :-)

  • This is so bad, I got embarrassed watching this all by myself...

  • zuper

  • How can anyone say that this is horrible? Obviously a person with poor taste in music. It's one of the most beautiful songs that BJH recorded in my opinion. The live version contains one of John Lees' best guitar solos.

  • One of the best and most beautifuls guitar solos of the history!

  • @heroehat why?

  • @redbaron863 Just a bit too Cheesy for my taste-sorry!

  • @redbaron863 -he doesn't know why..!!

  • @bugibbab0y Probably it was recorded by Dolby C : the worst ever invented late 80*ies Dave?

  • Dear Wolf, this was the first song when I came alive on You Tube, thanks to you! 5/9/2008....Yes we are getting old friends ;-)

  • Melody Story Folk Rock Prog Wonderful

  • @bugibbab0y I don´t understand why is this song so bad?!

  • .....that was yesterday......and it was fantastic and great!

  • I have always loved you guys! Pure class ans great musicians!

  • that asshole looks like M. D. Chapman :(

  • @rockyrigby you look like hitler

  • @claudia949 What? I was merely commenting that if you want to honor a man, don't look like his assassin! (And I don't look that much like Hitler!)

  • Pffffff really this is boooring they WHERE Good but this is really uninspiring Stuff!!

  • Merci, vraiment génial, fantastique. ENCORE!!!

  • really nice. BJH is one of the best rockbands i´ve ever heard

  • Uh Uh Uh UH

    JOHNNY FCKIN´ OWNz!!!!

  • This is for John! His light will shine on.

    Thanx

  • In memory of John Lennon.

    Great music Barclay James Harvest

  • hahahahahaha rofl, the lyrics are just so literal! although I would be just as cheesy if i played John's guitar

  • I was at the Weeley pop festival in circa 71 and watched the meeting of John Lennon ,Yoko and Barclay James harvest backstage on the steps. Can anyone beat that?

  • John Lennon did not have a guitar with him that day. But the Guitar in the song is his favourite Gretch.

  • @MrPod15

Sorry my friend, but I have to correct your statement. That can't be a Gretsch. I'm almost 100% sure that's an Epiphone Casino. Although Lennon did use Gretsch as well.

  • Sorry to correct you too....Yes, John had a Gretch, but that was more George's favorite. John's Epiphone Casino is an acustic guitar.

The guitar he used most of the time since Hamburg was his Rickenbacker, that was his favorite.

    Astrid

  • John's favorite guitar wasn't a Gretch, that was George's favorite. John had a Rickenbacker.

    Astrid

  • was für ein lied.

    ist es nicht wunderbar

  • Lovely. Thank you.

  • In the book "The Last Days of John Lennon", John Lennon had two dozen guitars, two banjos, and a sitar. I was amazed by this.

  • Honestly, it's a great book. It is a memoir by John Lennon and Yoko Ono's personal assistant from 1979-1981.

  • ...nice vid...nice music, but it isn´t a guitar john lennon played...looks like an epiphone, but john played his casino without bigsby...thx

  • He might be playing an Epiphone Revolution, instead of a sanded down Casino.

  • Moodys

  • Still beautiful...always will be :)!

  • Majestic and beautiful song...

  • einfach geniale musik

  • Nice song, good vid.

  • that is such a hard song to do....Life stages are even more difficult! Thank u redbaron!!

  • More pretentious crap.

Is that a request because you visited the right place, imho

BMH are always delighted to oblige

  • fool!

  • Great video.

  • What would it be worth now?....$50.000 ?

    C'mon, play me some Revolution €:-}

  • Perhaps you need to revisit your appreciation for this terrific testiment and band

  • whatever!

  • they really arent. haha i love how we have exactly the same amount of thumb downs. its good stuff!

  • on 22 feb, 1992 i saw my first Barclay concert at the age of 14 - same tour like this filmed document. amazing - and i remember it well as if it was yesterday! about 20 BJH concert should follow till this summer 2007...

  • Excellent :) Glad that you've been able to revisit that concert through film!

  • Was that the same guitar JLennon used at the Let It Be session?... nice stuff ..

  • well it was a replica (on that video) he did play the real thing...as he says back in 70...:)

  • well, thanks a lot - it seems to me - your an avid BJH fan, like me... GOd bless..

  • certainly am :). You too

  • A good tribute from BJH to JOHN LENNON.

    Amazing naturally.

  • Agreed. Excellent stuff...the guitar solo!

  • What a naff song. Yawn!

  • Come again?!?!

If you don't LIKE BJH why do you keep watching their videos?!

  • ok, I've got the message! as I said before I don't have the equipment to burn from VHS to DVD.

  • I have the VHS version already but do not have the equipment to transfer it onto MP3 or DVD? 6 songs are on the VHS version which are not on the DVD.

  • Thanks RedBaron! I was at this very concert back in '92, and I have found a great shot of me at the end of this song. The concert was a great one, and watching these songs brings back memories for sure!

I remember watching the camera shooting backwards and forwards over the crowd and me, and I'll now be looking for more shots in your other videos of this concert.

  • WOw! lucky you hehe!

I was minus 1 at that time dammit! I'd do anything to have seen BJH together though. It must be great to have those memories :)

  • Hey, I'm impressed that you dig their music at your age! And I always thought that I was a young fan! The concert was brilliant, however the best time to have seen them would probably have been in the late '70's but that was b4 my time. By the way, another cool English folk-rock band of the same era is Magna Carta. Their early stuff is great! All the best...

  • Hello! Presuming this was aimed at me ?

Sorry, I didn't sdee it. Yes, BJH are my life. They're everything, and I mean everything to me!

I first heard them just before my 13th birthday...19 months ago actually...never been teh same since!

    All the best, sarah x

  • Amazing..

  • Oh wow! I didn't see this video on here before. I love this song! Thankyou for uploading!

  • Simplesmente um regresso ao passado... Cresci ao som dos BJH, e tenho saudades de ser jovem!

Simply return to the past...I have grown into the sound of BJH and I have good feelings about my young age...

  • Brilliant intro stunning to hear for the first time.

I love this track, cheers, lennon & bjh !! there is a god

  • awsome, the world's most under rated band

  • Wonderful
