@AnthonySarrio I just don't like the useless technical wankery on those albums...and because of that Im not the biggest fan...actually Scenes from a Memory II is my favourite album. Systematic Chaos and Octavarium, Black Clouds and Train of Thought pretty sucked. No musical meaning behind it. Too much useless fills of Portnoy contributed to that. Luckily that egocentric hobbit is gone.

Better? Well that depends on your tastes, personally I find this album an excellent mix of the different "versions" of DT.
