Everyone in Romania is aware of what issues exist. Everyone in Romania finds it hard to re-allign to a normal way of living after a full scale comunism.
I was born in 1989, in the year when Ceausescu -comunist leader, was no more. I grew up in a caring environment as a child should. As you must have guessed, I'm almost 20.
As gipsies tend to settle in Romania, for what ever reason they consider, that does not make them Romanians. Their history can explain that very well. The two words Rrom and Romanian do have similarities but the first one was only set like that by that people its self. Their name as people does not relate in any way with Romania or its history. Dom would be the correct term.

@ukipwebmaster Fully agree w/ u, Ro shouldn't have joined the EU in the 1st place, not only because it's not in the same league as all the other members, but because it would definitely do better on its own. Don't think that it was allowed to enter the Union for nothing, we have been transformed into a profitable market and now all we do is import stuff from the EU, while the amount of goods produced locally is insignificant. The people never have a say in this, unfortunately, it's all politics.

Funny enough, I'm Romanian and I agree with Mr Farage. But that's for two reasons. I hate the idea of political integration into the EU(a free trade agreement would have been better) combined with the idea that when the Western societies will collapse due to immigration, everyone there will be able to storm in(sadly, I see this happening in my life time). Starting July 1, tourist steam trains run daily (except sundays) on the Vaser Valley line. Tuesdays, thursdays and saturdays, trains run from Viseu de Sus to Bardau (km 24.1). Mondays, wednesdays and fridays, trains run to Novat (km 12.8).

Why do you believe that Britishs are better than Romaniens ??? I believe there is no difference what so ever; and just because Romania is poor now and with lack of information, it doesn't mean that it would always be like that.

The thing is, intended or not, every report on Romania is bound to be bias because there's massive diversity. And this happens because there are generations of Romanians who are the product of years and years of communism versus the younger generations. The gap is simply enormous. My point is: you can't judge Romania by watching a video, positive or negative...

Bureaucracy and corruption exist in Romania from long time ago, it is not novel and the democracy is not so fragile, it was achieved through blood and it can be regained in the same way anytime, don't worry. EU, like USA, wants financial benefit and land security that's all.

This video has nothing to do with Nigel but everything to do with the way the BBC wants to present both him and Romania.
They had hours of footage and were responsible for the editing and where it would be shot and you wiil note that most of the speaking is done by Mark Mardell putting his own spin on things.

When Nigel is allowed to speak without words being put into his mouth by Mardell he is saying sensible things.
In the UK we have a history of not being forced into political union against our wishes. This is the key issue here.

The reason why I have chosen to wright so much is because I believe in correct and fair country advertising.
I think it is fair to explain my relationship with the British people. I am in my first year of Architecture, studying at the Unversity of Brighton, on my way to becoming an architect.
I have a clear perspective of what is happening around me. The opportunity for me to study in the UK has only proven the fact that Romania gives birth to people whom aspire and can get to their goals.

As I believe we all live in a civilised world, with intelligent people inhabiting it, I must say one must reconsider when judging a country only through a very narrow view. Everyone in Romania is aware of what issues exist. Everyone in Romania finds it hard to re-allign to a normal way of living after a full scale comunism.
I was born in 1989, in the year when Ceausescu -comunist leader, was no more. I grew up in a caring environment as a child should. As you must have guessed, I'm almost 20.

As gipsies tend to settle in Romania, for what ever reason they consider, that does not make them Romanians. Their history can explain that very well. The two words Rrom and Romanian do have similarities but the first one was only set like that by that people its self. Their name as people does not relate in any way with Romania or its history. Dom would be the correct term.

No-one here hates Romania or Romanians. The points being raised here are what happens when you try to forcibly join together countries with vastly different economies.
The narrative is from the BBC (Mark Mardell) and was a stitch-up in the way they presented it.

This is a product of the BBC with it's own editorial line and way of presenting things. Read between the lines and you will see that Mark Mardell is trying to paint a picture that reflects the BBC world view.

This is a lowlife subjective video that shows only the worst things that can be found in Romania. I guess that the gypsy villages are very representative. Anywhere you go you can find bad things and good ones, he really skipped the good ones. This is a lack of respect versus the Romanian people and Romania and the Romanian Revolution from 1989.

70% of romania is tolen from the lost enemies of ww1 such as Hungary, Moldavia and Bulgaria after 1920.If you compare the cities of Transilvania (old Hungary) with thier capital (buckarest) you can claerly see the difference , the richness and poverty, the culture and rubbish dump on the other side. Transyilvania gives 70% of their national income thanks to the hard work of Hungary for the last 1100 years and now they are so proud of it what they just stole few years ago.All cities are hungarian
