@hitek9wittafulclip the problem with ECW was that it hit it's mark during the height of the Monday Night War. Talent became very expensive during this time frame. Sandman has said in shoots he was making $150,000 a year. ECW wasn't big enough to carry that debt during that time. ECW never had reserves like WCW and WWE. WWE almost went out of business during this time but they had the resources to weather the storm, Heyman never had that.

What I like about Paul Heyman is that he lets ECW die. I think ECW should be gone. Remember when they resurrected ECW? It sucked. Paul knows that. Vince know that. WWE puts a lot of energy and resources into building on the "anti-Cena" sentiment and creating stars who can capitalize on it to sell products, so when you start to cheer for that guy who's standing in opposition to Cena, you're buying into what WWE is selling. But since that would not happen; Heyman should stay away from the biz for a while. Dixie Carter has ABSOLUTELY NO ACCUMEN for the wrestling business whatever. I don't think that she doesn't care. I think that she's just in over her head. Vince McMahon LIVED pro-wrestling. He had a vision and he was willing to do whatever it took to make that vision into a reality. He pissed a lot of people off, but that didn't change his mind. I don't think that Dixie Carter has the vision or the committment to follow-through that it would take to make TNA a success. I think that's why it's so easy for guys like Hulk and others to get so much influence.

I would say heyman was a great manager for brock lesnar in 2002 and made ecw popular. As far as vince's mcmahon wants compettion i beg to differ. I will say tna needs to get rid of old guys hogan and flair and put title on styles and build young 20-30 year old tag teams. For love of god get out of kiddie park!
