Have you been to Key West? There are tons of homeless people that live there along with drunks, druggies, and rapists. It's so sad. They sleep everywhere including the hostel Key West provides. I will agree that Key West is awesome! I was there when Charles was! I had a blast! But I did see ALOT of shady people and areas!

there are "some" homeless people - but there is no "seedy" side of town. there's one small spot of "project" housing that's mostly Hatian you shouldn't feel odd walking through there - and certainly no voodoo or chicken sacrificing. the seediest people are the tourists....
