Dude this was really good. I really appreciate that you animated the character at such a high frame rate without animating in twos as well. Really original style.
Just to clarify, he doesnt commit suicide. Without dying, he flies his way into heaven because the world he was living in was not a world he wanted to reside in. We went to live his days with his family among the clouds of the afterlife. No deaths except for his family of course.
Beautiful. Better than some thesis films I saw at my animation program.
Story was a little vague towards the end. Was the whole film a dream and this is his journey into the afterlife? Did he fly into the sun? Did he go so high up in the air that he died? Less important, although maybe an interesting detail depending on how you tied it in, but you might even show how his family died. Just little things to think about - it still works pretty well. :)
