ya should i put on after market shocks on it? i want more travel then it already had, should i get the kit or the rtr? im JUST starting, so what do you recomend? and what do you recomend for tools?
@nice the ready to run (rtr) version is great for out of the box fun but I'd suggest building your own with the kit because it comes with linkage upgrades that you'll want to do anyway, plus after assembling it all you'll know how things work when something breaks, and if you are having fun something will break! This will cost more initially but if you're serious about scale wheeling this will save you money in the end.
Looking to trade an axial scaler for my $1800 RC car. I'm looking at the axial. Contact me for the Youtube video link or type in the following description "Trade for RC Axial Rock Crawler, click on "SHOW MORE" below, call at 314-960-9720, tdwmb7@aol.com"
Would you recommend getting the kit version instead of the tr version? the price difference is only $30 between the two, and i fear it will cost a lot more than that to put my own esc/motor combo in it.
What items did u used to make it 4WS? I mean what do i need to make my own honcho also have rear steer? Becouse the shops in Belgium says that it is unpossible...
Great Video. I love the SCX10 model I'm getting one this monday. I plan to take the body off and get the jeep one then replace the tires with some 2.2 ones. And then I would like to add a hitch and either make or buy a trailer. BTW does yours have all wheel steering because it looked like it did.
great video.. I just bought a honcho... and i love your truck. i am trying to build mine up and i am wondering where do you get those aluminum steering links from?? and those headlight bezels?? Those are a very nice touch. what servo are you runnning.... i am thinking about running some 2.2 tires too to get alittle more lift.. and i want to be able to really turn them..yours was doing great!!
Gr8 vid! I am currently waiting for delivery of Honcho with 2.2 beadlocks + badlands - thanks for your tips ;-).
I just wonder how 2.2s fit with the body. Did you some modding to your shocks to lesser the twist or does 2.2 "naturally" fit with the body without touching it in maximum twist?
I also plan to add rear steering which is superb - I have it on my Losi Mini Rock Crawler and it is a "must have" for crawler in my opinion.
This is such a great video, I keep watching. Love the body LED's. 2.2 tyres look great and crawl well 5:40 is amazing. I must ask what is the camera it's so clear? What other mods have you done? Thanks keep the great videos coming.
yes i put on the 2.2 Proline Badlands. With this tire the Honcho ist much more better for crawling ;o) .
It is not the ready to crawl version, i use Novak Goat 3s with 18.5 motor and installed 4 wheel steering. It is the kit version with clear lexan body.
hay guy come check out my videos i have a lot of axial trail honcho videos

Your vid quality is fantastic!
The Honcho looks still very scale with the 2.2`s.
Ich überlege echt ob ich ned auch auf die größeren
Räder wechsle, der Honcho verträgt die optisch echt gut!!!

Thanks.
I filmed with two cams. The most of it were filmed with my HD-Camcorder (SONY HDR-HC7E) an a few scense were filmed with the CANON EOS5d Mark II.
You need no other Mods on the Honcho ;o)

Hast Du auch so Probleme mit Vorderachse gehab bzgl. Servo trotz versetzter Servoplatte?
