  • Lost bull frogg mine. 1910 to 1930 death valley

One willy prospector found gold were he never thought it could be found. middle of a valley in loose sand color green ( bull frogg green }. This guy was an old timer and only panned as much as he could carry - leaving green sand and crystals behind - thermal water depost.

The prospector could not relocate find.

  • Lost chicken bone mine./ Little girl

Prospector aprox 1900 finds light blue crysgtals - takes a sample to assaye office - tried to talk the assay guy to asssayye for free. Assayer threw the bagg of crystals in the back of his work shop. 15 years lator the Assyer cleaned out his workshop and insernated the sample with chicken bones that were dried out {bones used for soup / sulpur in bones}. After the pile burned Little NANCEY was playing with a chicken leg bone that was gold plated.

  • The green crystals could be up to 5% gold or 10% copper. If you can sepatrite the green crystals out and have the assayyyed. Also get a sample of the a cross section of the entire vein - not just the high grade section. 1 foot wide and one foot deep - take pictures with a yard stick near to show assay office. Black could be silver or chromite or ????? good.

    lost mine proofs next

  • 1:27 WORK SLAVE!!! LOL!!!!

  • YOU GUYS DON'T KNOW EXACTLY HOW TO MAKE GOLD. THEY ARE SIMPLY BEING HEATED TO A CERTAIN DEGREE THAT WILL TURN THE MALLEABLE METALS INTO GOLD. THINGS TO DO:

    PREPARE:

    1. SILVER, ORE, IRON, COPPER (SILVER MUST HAVE HIGHER QUANTITY)

    2. MIX & HEAT THEM FOR ABOUT 4 HOURS AT 2200 DEGREES CELCIUS.

    3. THEN COOL DOWN

    4. REHEAT FOR 4 HOURS THIS TIME ADD PYRITE CRYSTALS (IRON SULFIDE) AT 1,100 DEGREE's.

    6. COOL DOWN AND REMOVE SOME EXCESS ORES.

    7. DIPPED IN A VINEGAR FOR 15 MINUTES AND THANK ME.

  • these guys are either rich in the caymans by now or pumping gas at sev.

  • green crystal=emerald if you ask me

  • /watch?v=HChoJzrhCB0

  • So, how have you done with this vein since posting this video?

  • thumbnail looked like KFC

  • it's very easy

  • Who else thought the beginjng was buckets of kfc... Oh we africans :L

  • i bet your hole is now deep. Or maybe you dug for another. Mine is still shallow. I have just started it for about a month now. I'm wondering how you process and recover your gold that is too tiny that is flowing with the water. And i'm wondering if there are some gold deposits incorporated in the soil. how do you recover them sir.

  • after a couple years, how big is that hole now?

  • I live here in Colorado and there are plenty of gold and othe mineral and gemstone veins to go around. I have even seen a vein running through a area behind my grandparents house in Woodland Park. Thats when the builders dug out tons of dirt to build the house. I even did some metal detecting and its definetly a vein. I'm planning on getting in there to get the gold out of that damm hill side.lol

  • I live here in Colorado and there are plenty of gold and othe mineral and gemstone veins to go around. I have even seen a vein running through a area behind my grandparents house in Woodland Park.

  • those green crystals are shit haha

  • I'd invest in a small used back-hoe to do the digging.

  • He he, maybe dogs can be trained to sniff for high yield ores? Most metals have a smell do they not?

  • How are you processing your ore? I just bought a nice claim and this is one of the last things I need to work out. Thanks!

  • I love in West Alabama (Fayette county.) I hear there's lots of gold to be found in Alabama, but I think it's further north and east, if I'm not mistaken. Wish I had land with something worth digging for. lol

  • planet mine has some nice ore

  • How can I tell if my property has gold

  • Does a Claim mean that the public cannot mine or pan for gold on the claim land?

  • @CondemnedPatriot That is correct. The claim gives the claim holder exclusive rights to a given area of land. You can generally travel through a claim but can not engange in activity for which the claim is for.

  • @Robbob9933 exclusive nothing. When I was researching claims there were times I found 3 or 4 active claims on the same land. What it comes down to is who has the money to extract the gold. The hard rock claims looked like a brick wall stacked and staggered and runs under the placer claims. The mining company considers the placer overburden :P I consider it a vast gold tooth that needs pulled ;)

  • I live in AMine and theres TONS AND TONs of Granite around where I live. I live right below MT. Katahdin and I've been told theres gold up in them there hills. I just don't know where to start...Theres hundreds of streams around coming down from the mountain. I was thinking starting with a metal detector? Any suggestions?

  • @gunlver Test pan in the streams.

  • lol, at 3:37 it's like the dog knows he's on camera

  • hey can i come camp at your claim

  • looks like KFC :D

  • i been away for some time, thank you for your kind reply . i have another question , if you please. i have a lorenz lpx 2 p.i. metal detecter . most pi s wont detect small gold , what is your ideas , if any on detecting a vein of gold like yours . by the way good luck with your extaction process . o one more thing , we would love to here about your detection method, not easy to tract down a vein of gold .

  • pretty dog.

  • Since most gold is fine, are you leaching your ore, or how are you processing it?

  • Small green crystals = garnets?

Here in the Yukon I'm pulling two garnets for every flake out of my pan and they're usually found in similar locations.

Nice vein, did you ever figure out a yield/ton on your claim?

  • @blubuddha13 1-7 oz/ton au. .001 oz/ton ag Found out that the green crystals are Florite.

  • @auhardrocker that is a lot of gold. Not many companies get dig out 1-7 oz/ton of gold.

  • @blubuddha13 garnets my birthstone!how are they green tho arnt they like a burgandy brownish type

  • @k2evans118 from allaboutgarnets Although many people think of garnets as green garnets are in fact, (sic) usually red in color but can also be found in a number of other colors including purple, orange, yellow green brown and even black. Even colorless crystals of garnet have also been found.

  • @blubuddha13 oh cool thats intresting. thanks :D

  • @blubuddha13 ide say the green is copper yo

  • @blubuddha13 garnets are red I believe, and they are considered less valuable then rubys

  • @blubuddha13 garnets are red

  • I have a claim in New mexico and am looking for soemoen to work the claim , I can't do it anymore what state is your claim in??

  • You should think about using little blackpowder chargers on each side of the vein.

  • What does a vein look like? What is a reef? where do you go to make a mining claim? How much would a mining claim cost? What state would you suggest for beginners to go to to experience this mining? sounds fun, good luck with your find.

  • @ThePrayerHotline...a 20 acre mining claim is around $160. look where there has been mining done in the past. a vein is kind of hard to explain in lehmans terms. Take granite for instance, if there is a white streak or a red streak running through it...usually at an angle, but not always, it could possibly be a vein. you would not know the grade of it until you had an assay test done on it.($40) one of many examples. sometimes u can't see the vein. what state are you in? gold is everywhere.

  • @auhardrocker Thanks for the very useful info my friend. Does the $160 dollar mining claim expire? Im in Illinois about 15 minutes from the border of wisconsin. I did a search on the internet for wisconsin & illinois area. The results were glacial gold. I then did a search on the aspect of glacial gold hunting. The results told me that glacial gold is not worth pursuing. because theres very litle gold. mircrofilm amounts of gold scrape off from source and carried along as the glacier move

  • @ThePrayerHotline I`m in IL also and don`t let them fool you on the gold from the glaciers..There is a lot of it being found in central and southern Indiana and quit a bit being found in southern Illinois...You have to get south where the glaciers quit and get down deep to the bedrock...Lots of farkin red tape to go thru in IL just to pan on state ground though...Best bet is Indiana just south of INDY...

  • @xpfuzz try blm land very easy to prospect

  • @auhardrocker A lot of old claims were abandoned because they were not economical at $35/toz but are higly economical at $1200+/toz.

  • @auhardrocker is there gold in michigan? If so,where? I'm in the south east in St.Clair County

  • @auhardrocker what is gold worth per pound/ounce?

  • @auhardrocker seriously? you can get a 20 acre gold claim for 160 dollars? can you use equipment on it to get down deep and run alot of material?

  • So what are you looking for exactly when you are looking for a vein?

  • More videos, please!

  • where is the gold vein located? exactly, i mean.

  • thanks for the video

  • it is pretty small but what? any advice on hard rock digging for beginners. i know it is all hard work but was wondering abuot ready available equipment other than a shovel and pick

  • @7troding The gold on my claim I mean is pretty small. Advice? I am not a seasoned pro at hard rock mining. look at what I posted to "theprayerhotline". equipment is expensive, BUT, if you can locate a vein or even some fissures (small cracks with vein material) you can do very well, if you can crush it yourself or have it done. The thing is, is everybody goes after placer gold because it is easier to get the final product, but there is much more hard rock gold than most people think.

  • The green stones might be jade. Sometimes found with gold. I look forward to more videos, this is great!

  • i found a gold vein but dont know much about chasing it up.the vein is 1metre below alluvial wash .one section on top of reef produced 60 ounce for 80kg of quarts the reef runs east /west and have followed along top of rreef 4metres and got about 5ounces for 15kg quarts should i go straight down ?.dont know how far it goes east /west because theres no exposure any help or information would be appreciated . anyway hows your find going.

  • did you find out what your crystal was?you might keep some of it if it turns out to be valuable and of gem quality

  • Even if they are gem quality, they are too small to cut. I don't know what they are and I won't even check it out till they get bigger than 1/8". Right now they are around 1/16". I'm sure they are not emeralds, although they have the same crystal structure.

  • Green = copper. Pretty common associated w/ Au.

  • Well, that's what I thought at first. Assay tests prove very little copper, plus, these are Hexagonal six- sided crystals that are transparent. They are very small and beautiful. They are the color of a green highlighter. The longest one I found was 5 mm. Thanks

  • Tourmaline maybe...

  • Later when the paperwork comes through we will be using jackhammers, rock drills and Dexpan...it is a powder that mixes with water and expands in the drilled holes to break up the ore. The vein is kind of soft right now from weathering, but the solid quartz that we have been getting into is bone- jarring hard when you hit it with a pick. I have been using a mortar and pestel to do my own tests on my shaker table. It is not an exact test, but it lets you know quickly if there is a little or alot

  • Good video!

How do you plan to crush the ore(mechanical crusher or by hand with a morter&pestel)? Also is the assay of the ore looking good?

I didn't see a hand drill, chisel, or sledge hammer in the video... is the vein loose enough that a pick will break it up?....or are you guys using destructive munitions?

Have fun mining and keep us posted with the progress!

  • The assays are not too bad and getting better as we get deeper and wider. It now appears that the vein could be as wide as 5 feet. It is very exciting. I have a jaw crusher, a pulverizer, and a utech shaker table, and an Action mining Micro mill wave table. None are on site yet. Right now, we are using pics and shovels.

  • Where abouts in the country is this claim?

  • It is in the Northern Colorado mountains

  • you need to get a quad with a trailer to haul your ore up to the truck with

  • Yeah, something easier than by hand...Too much like work Huh? Ha Ha Ha.
