all women in L.A. eventually become bitches cuz it is a very cruel town for women. after 30 they are past their prime and very hard to get a man. lucy is beautiful but for l.a. standards, she is a 7 cuz she is chubby for l.a. standards, im sure she was a 9 in georgetown. yes, she already lost her spark and is now aware of the bitter reality. the competition is brutal and she does not have the "IT" factor. her acting needs tons of work and time is running out.

I also moved to LA from Austin about a year ago, worked at a good job for a while, then realized that LA basically sucked (overpriced, congested, smog, etc). Moved back a couple weeks ago. But it was an interesting experience. You should try getting into the fast growing Austin film scene.

Figure out your monthly overhead and invite them to send $10/$20/$50/$100 a month for a year which will give you time to take classes and work 100% on your career.
You could make a little thank you video for each of them or send them an autographed photo so they can say they helped you when you were just starting out. That would be fun for them...

Reason being is that my daughter has the same aspirations that you have on becoming an actor/actress. How long have you been in LA and have you gotten any work yet. Also do you have any experiance in acting suxh as college and do you have a time limit set meaning if something doesn't happen within a few years will you quit looking and give up?
why not take some acting lessons, because right now the quality of your acting is about porn quality. So either go to the valley and do some porn auditions, or take acting lessons, or go for extra work between auditions. Extras work is better than no acting work.

I've seen people use the term "actor" to refer to females as well as males. Actress is a bit of a meaningless term, since back when women weren't allowed to perform, men played both male and female roles...so in a sense, an actor can be a male or female....

I see from your video that you showed a bit of acting and it was impressive. I also do impersonations of celebrities and politions, which improves my acting abilities. I was wondering if you had ever considered in doing that.
SAG is Screen Actors Guild - basically the Union for actors. It gives them medical benefits and other benefits (directors are encouraged to use SAG actors instead of non-union actors), so getting a SAG card is essential for an actor

The powers that be in Hollywood have not caught up with the youtube phenomenon, unfortunately. Perhaps by this time Laura has been contacted by some prominent person, but provided that has not yet happened, they still haven't caught up and thus haven't seen her yet. Hopefully soon, though.

Ive become a happy subscriber, & what you need to do now is focus on ur dream & self-preservation (keepin the lights on) & mostly you need to focus on your SPIRIT. Dont allow any "hater", whether it is on the web, or in real life, especially when you go on auditions, steal that from you.

Hi Laura, I would first no matter where you go, or what you do, there will always be the "haters" Mostly cuz theres so many ppl that just "hate" there own lives, & then need to pass on that negativity to others. Concede to urself that you will need to grow a thick skin for that kind of critism, & above all, dont let them bring ur spirit down so far, that u end up givin up on ur dream.

Yeah, RyanP91...neuro-linguistic programming in action. Good stuff. You can tell she's a good person though. She can't continue to look the camera in the eye when she lies about her plans to get her SAG card, when Laura/Lucy already has it. She has to look away, because telling even a small lie isn't what she wants to do, even though Karim and she decided they should do some of that even at the beginning for some reason. What a sweetheart. :)

Checkout the spring 05 issue of Mayfair, "Lilly"(aka LUCYinLA,LauraSegura) gets on her knees and blows like the wind.she's one frikin' hot lil nympho!She's got one fine set of jugs too! When actors and actresses use the term, 'actor' they use it as the group name for their art. Is like the group name for lesbian is 'gay' same with homosexual. why not take some acting lessons, because right now the quality of your acting is about porn quality. So either go to the valley and do some porn auditions, or take acting lessons, or go for extra work between auditions. Extras work is better than no acting work.

oh my God... your life sounds like a bad mexican soap opera... it is simple... if you like to get what you want in that industry, go and screw some directors and producers, maybe a couple of casting agencies owners, and then...and then... you will might get a shot... but after your "acting sample" you showed here, first, get acting lessons... do not jeopardize your body... it is just not right...

I've seen people use the term "actor" to refer to females as well as males. Actress is a bit of a meaningless term, since back when women weren't allowed to perform, men played both male and female roles...so in a sense, an actor can be a male or female....

Hi Lucy. I enjoyed watching your video. It's a good introduction. You mentioned that you would like to be an actor. I took part in a performing arts course once and learnt new acting skills. I see from your video that you showed a bit of acting and it was impressive. I also do impersonations of celebrities and politions, which improves my acting abilities. I was wondering if you had ever considered in doing that.

SAG is Screen Actors Guild - basically the Union for actors. It gives them medical benefits and other benefits (directors are encouraged to use SAG actors instead of non-union actors), so getting a SAG card is essential for an actor
