just go to Homebrew channel, (if u don't have it watch another video on how to get it)

and click on the gecko icon,

then press load

I really need help with this :(.I have wii version 4.3U and I use a sandisk 2gb sd card. I have homebrew channel and homebrew browser.Anyways I've been downloading gecko versions 19, 1.9.1, 192 and 1.9.3.1 and none of them seem to work I take the Gecko file from the HBC file and put it in my apps file of my sd card. but when i turn on my wii, all I get is a blank black screen and my wii remote gets disconnected... This looks so simple, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Help please : (? Will sub

Thats what happened to mine you need the newest one which is the 1.9.3.1 delete the others. If it still doesnt work try deleting the file and download it again or you could try using ocraina another cheat code app (:

When I put the SD card in my wii and go to gecko os the screen goes black and my controller shuts off. I cant turn the controller on again and I have to hold the power button for a long time before it shuts off. Any help?

@usernamewtfman2 you have to download some apps, and put them into a folder called "apps" (you have to create that one) :P

ok im veryy stuck on something, anyone that can help leme know. k so, i have the Homebrew Channel downloaded via "Letterbomb" (easy). i have the all the code(s) i need put in the manager and my sd card already. the following folders i have in my sd card (in order):

Gecko 1.9.3

codes

hbc

private

wiiload (hackmii installer?)

boot.dol (one file?)

anyway when i try putting the sd card in and loading homebrew, theres just a screen with bubbles...nothing else...need helpp plzzz

@punk064 You need to make an "apps" folder, if you made one, put the Gecko 1.9.3 folder into the "apps" one.

Than Gecko should pop up.

@punk064 I think I know the solution: I had the exact same problem. There's like 4 different files named "gecko1931", but the one you need to extract to "apps" is the "gecko1931" folder inside the "HBC" folder. You probably extracted the wrong "gecko1931" to "apps". Watch the video closely to see which one you need to extract to "apps".

Gecko os wont work. I click on it and it loads up for 1 or 2 seconds, then goes back to the wii menu. I have homebrew and 4.3u, if anybody knows how to fix this I would really appreciate it.

Im new to this wii hacking thing. Can anyone answer if you need an internet connection to make Gecko work because I here It installs IOS's to run backups and the only way i can think of it installing the needed IOS's is through wifi/internet connection.
