@EMR80 some of them ?....a whole hell of a lot of them fought back. Especially in Brazil, the African slaves led a revolt that lasted over 100 years. But all over the Americas Africans led successful slave revolts. The most successful of all being in Haiti, because that was the one where they liberated the entire island. Other successful revolts only liberated groups of Africans (that set up refugee communities in the jungles of the Americas)
