  • how the hell do u make a squicky, high pitched, mouse voice on imovie? I HAVE 2 KNOW!

  • Either speed up the video or use an audio editing program to change the pitch of your voice.

  • i have imovie with a built in camara 2008 and i dont know how 2 speed it up. do u think that u can make a video on how to do that? please

  • ok heres a kinda tricky way.

    download AUDACITY for mac

once youve made your iMovie video, export it as an MP3 file. open it in audacity and change the pitch, then go back to imovie and bring in the changed pitch MP3 and play it over the top of your video.

its kinda long winded but worth it, audacitys a really good programe to have

  • it is i movie had

    :\

  • too bad, if you need anymore help lemme know

  • lol, I said that because I don't have a Mac...

I might get one soon though.

  • Great video. I'm hoping you are a teacher. If not, you're in the wrong profession. 5 Stars!!

  • I'm not a teacher, lol, I would never do that.

I'm just about to graduate from high school, but I would never be a teacher, their salary starts at 30 grand, so screw that

  • This was very funny and helpful. Thanks!

  • this is very funny

  • you don't need a camera, you can also download clips online. but i suppose if you wwant to do something completely different...

  • usually when people download clips, they add music to it, and if anybody does this, like the rest of these idiot youtube users, then they obviously need a reality check...im kinda into making films, not bullshit.

make your own films, don't STEAL from someone else and make it your own...

  • nah, don't download clips online

doing that gets copyright crap involved

plus, original = never been done

and never been done = badass

  • Thanks for the demo! Now I know I don't need to get Final Cut to edit a demo reel. :)

  • not really, lol. Ever since I switched to Adobe Premiere Pro, and Final Cut, I never wanted to go back to iMovie. iMovie is pretty simple and intuitive, but the problem is that it's consumer based. A watered down editing software. iMovie from iLife 06 is great. But I really, really hate the new iMovie 08...it's just confusing, good luck though

  • No, I know what you mean. I used Final Cut and Avid Express for editing in school, but I lost them both during a hard drive crash a bit ago, so I only have iMovie on me at the moment. We'll see how I do. Thanks again for the tutorial. :)

  • Where the hell did you steal Final Cut and Avid...we have legal versions, but it's really tough to find Avid, especially since you need the dongle, even if you did have it...it's confusing as hell. My teacher knows some of it though, gonna learn from him. Too bad about the HD though, should back everything up, especially software as crucial as that.

  • I didn't steal them, I used them in the computer lab editing rooms at my school. Avid isn't that confusing, you just have to play with it a little. I do recommend it.

  • realy nice movie but can i ask you with what you did record the voice?

  • iMovie, lmao

  • i like u're voooiiceee! :] thnkx for the help

  • thanks XD

  • EXCELLENT WORK MR. CARBONE

  • Great tutorial. Thanks! Hey, the video I shot (while the camera was, um, unattended) is blurry in some places. Can I fix that in iMovie?

  • Nah, the blurry part is the camera adjusting to something moving in front of it, whenever you have your camera sitting with nothing in front of it, it is adjusted to how far away the blank wall or whatever it is, that it's filming, as soon as a person or thing moves in front of that lens, the camera automatically adjusts itself to where the length between the person and the camera, because now there's a different length between the two

  • that is why you get the blurs, because the lens is trying to focus between different things that enter the camera's view

  • Great tutorial. Thanks! Hey, the video I shot (while the camera was, um, unattended) is blurry in some places. Can I fix that in iMovie?

  • thanks for the help!

  • Nice info-moive man, I don't think you spent 3 hours doing nothing, heheh

  • dude awesome, glad i inspired ya :D

You're stuff comes out so professional, damn i want imovie
