  • I've loved Nick since 85, lovely sweet person too. Deserves a massive smash hit, and this should have been one.

  • we want that 2nd album.. please Nick make it happen!

  • when nwas this released?

  • @hambone8080 that's what I'm wondering. Connorstreet, you got an answer for us?

  • Prophets are so rarely appreciated in their own times.

  • pure genious!!

  • Before this was released (MLO I mean) Nick had a page on the Creation site which had an awesome video diary with rough cuts of songs from the album, most of it filmed from his flat. Very innovative for the time, and stylishly done too. Wish I still had it :(

When's the damn 2nd album coming out!

  • pink floyd meets peter gabriel .... to me anyway. i dig it.

  • looks like it's time to pull the old water bong out of the attic.

  • He is god !

  • I love his outlook... on everything! Nick Laird Clowes needs a new publicist. lol

    he rules

  • Where did this come from? WOW!

  • Brilliant stuff this!

  • Maybe they'd get back together in '09 to play outside at Rockin' the Rivers in Montana in August. That's my dream! Laurie

  • woo hoo! i will help promote.

  • huge fan. i wish there was more coming from nick/trashmonk. thanks for posting.

  • Oh but there is. The 2nd Trashmonk album is complete. Hopefully it will see the light of day through some record label and distributor.

  • Thank you for sharing.

  • Fantastic sounds

  • Excellent track, actually the whole 'Mona Lisa Overdrive' album is excellent from start to finish!!! Very, very few albums do that.

Trashmonk is FAR too much underground though, only came across M.L.O. by a series of strange coincidences. Heard it first in a 'blue sapphire' state, when the state was beginning to mean more than reality. It brought me back :-)

  • i am so fucking thrilled this has turned up .

i thought it was lost forever along with the EPK documentary.

it's a real record of a moment in time (emerging from what felt like years underground ) !

    N.L.C.
