If screamers used their false chords it means their singing would be unaffected, but we all know very few people scream AND sing well live. I wonder why??

His highs, maybe, but back in the day, like on the song Forever and that whole album he did straight Growls. As they progressed so did his growls. this guy is right but he just says it in the wrong way, airy technique [ i killed the prom queen etc ] sounds absolutely stupid. and the powerfry wich is the actuall technique this guy uses but obviously needs a lot of work is the right way of doing these kinds of vocals. Its quite the challenge to learn the powerfry technique while learning the airy you can learn them in like 1 week.

@Saintmichael14 I can tell you its nothing like this guy is doing. Tim pushes his voice till it breaks, thats why he has a smaller range than a lot of other screamers. There is an element of vocal fry in real screams but its only axillary to actual breaking of the voice and is what gives a scream a distorted sound. If screamers used their false chords it means their singing would be unaffected, but we all know very few people scream AND sing well live. I wonder why??

ok vocal fry is not screaming, it sounds like screaming but its really slowing down your voice and then adding more air to it to get the sound it makes (examples: bullet for my valentine, a7x (new stuff)) the stuff that as i lay dying and bmth do is actual screaming. not fry screaming

sorry t tell you dude but the AILD screaming you are doing isn't correct. Tim Lambesis uses more of the growl technique. His highs, maybe, but back in the day, like on the song Forever and that whole album he did straight Growls. As they progressed so did his growls. Your screams are good, for brutal, check out the way ABACABB growls.
