how did you get so good at double thumping? I can do it slow but when I get faster I mess up and stuff. Where is the best place to double thump on the bass?

Sometimes I try to construct grooves/riffs that will develop my technique. This groove is one example of this. I keep practicing it, until I can play it as it should be played. Regarding where to DT, I find that for me it works best, right before the neck starts.
