Tarja's brother's name is Tony Turunen. He's in a band now, himself. She's with Decended. He toured with her for a while and performed The Phantom of the Opera and Poison with her.

As for a mishap at a concert in England... I have no idea.

I understand what you mean, BUT, the Vikings were from Scandinavia ;) And, alas, Finland is, and never was, part of Scandinavia. I.e. the language belong to a totally different group with Estonian and Hungarian. But i'd 'adopt' Tarja any day ;)

I personally think that the real reason she plays NW songs that never been played live before is because deep down inside, she's afraid that Anette sings the old songs better than she does and that fans prefer Anette's version of the songs over her's. At least with songs like Dead Gardens, Tarja has a certain sense of security.

About the thing someone said that Tarja is "selfish" and an ass to the fans, I totally disagree, I saw her close by and she is an awesome person with everyone, she really thinks for the fans also, in a quote she said in end of an era dvd, she says she wants to play songs that have never been played before to let the fans that have seen nightwish more than once feel a good new experience, I remember well cause I saw it yesterday, lol. I really doubt it, Tarja´s solo album is much much better than I ever expected, she has a really good band now. Tarja is starting on her own and she is doing really good in my point of view. My best reagrd to both Nightwish and Tarja.

True, Dimmu Borgir and Cradle of Filth both said there's no Rilvalry with them and fans still compare the 2. Honestly, though, I doubt it would happen, but I think the best way to silence it if Nightwish began talking with her again and maybe even invited her back to do a song for an album.

No, Tuomas didn't discribe her as a witch. He said she was simply confused in the decisions she stood by. Her husband made all the decisions and thats what eventually drove them apart. Tarja is a lovely person and both parties were very hurt when the split happened.
