@TheMrnerdgeek 21t most likely stands for 21 turns, which can stand up to 14.4 volts, so you can run an 8.4 volt battery pack easy. Its a good motor and I would put it to use.

@rcfreak363 its not the bearings, its the cheesy plastic tie rods and i striped out the hex so i fixed it, and now its not balanced and does that, i got tired of it so i sold it on craigslist

whats ur top speed? I have the titan & vxl in mine too and 22t pinion, but top end is only 20mph?? 23 -24 with an 8.4v

mines about the same. but its still better than the stock setup. i also tried a reedy radon 30000 rpm motor (the one out of an sc10) it made made it a little faster and with a good 8.4 it probly hit close to 30mph

no 7.2v, but im working on a video right now that uses a 8.4v battery and a different motor and it hauls ass. the problem with 8.4v is getting the battery to fit in the car, you have to some mods to the battery slot. check back for the new vid soon, hope to have it up in a week or two :)

it has a titan 550 12 turn motor, full ball bearings, and a 22 tooth pinion gear and has a waterproof speed controller and reciever
