  • "I am the way the truth and the light none come to the Father but through me"

Isaiah 42:8 I am Jehovah, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved images.

Isaiah 48:11 For My own sake, for My own sake, I will do it; For how should My name be profaned? And I will not give My glory to another.

  • Great! insightful and very useful.

  • the rosary is the following ; STUPID, IDIOTIC, VAIN REPETITION , BLASPHEMOUS , AND ABOVE ALL DEMONIC . THANK GOD FOR THE REFORMATION OTHERWISE ALL CHRISTIANITY WOULD HAVE BEEN TAINTED WITH ROMES PAPAL POISON

  • @MrDovahkinn - That's fine, heretic. Say what you like. We are on our way to heaven. As for you, less you repent of satanic heresies of the Protestant Revolt, burn forever more in the everlasting fires of hell.

  • Jesus has been working out bigtime@ 3:49.....love the pecs and the abs J-man....keep it up!

  • If Catholic priest are so holy, why are loads of the pedophiles???

  • @thalonen The Catholic priesthood is made up human men, and humanity is in a state of brokenness (which is why there are thieves, murderers, cheats in the world). They aren't machines, and they arent perfect, though they strive to to be more holy every day. The majority of Catholic priests are devout, saintly men, dedicated to their ministries. Unfortunately you don't hear about those priests in the news, or that the majority of pedophiles are married men with families of their own

  • @themacdaddytj You are simply guessing...and hoping that there are more good priests than rotten ones. I don't believe that fantasy for a minute. More than half of the Lutheran priests are phony as well, they don't believe in God's word, they are Nicolaitans (those who don't mind to compromise with sin). I'm pretty sure that only a few % of all so called Christians will see Heaven (with Christians I mean all those who claim to follow JC). More than 95% will end up in Hell, and the Lake of Fire.

  • @thalonen If more priests were scandalous than devout, then scandalous priests would not be a newsworthy event because it would be too common to be "interesting". I've been very active in the Catholic Church and Catholic ministry for my entire life. Catholic school, choir, altar boy, I teach catechism, etc. I've worked with some lame priests but the vast majority of the priests I've worked with have been genuinely devout, dedicated men, faithful to the Gospel, Christ, and His people

  • ROSARY LEADS US TO JESUS THROUGH HIS MOTHER MARY ALL PROTESTANTS TAKE NOTE

  • why does this film start like horror movie

  • I have no respect for religious mumbo Jumbo, Mary was just a woman, nothing more nothing less. Jesus is the only name on Earth that can save a soul! I know Jesus Christ in person, so can U!!!!

  • @thalonen mary was the mother of god , ie jesus christ dont be so stupid will you , mary should be very respected

  • @mufc99ok

Mary is not the mother of God like you religious people pretend, read the Bible. Jesus warns us not to corrupt the message, and turn her into something more than she is, a blessed woman, just like many other women.

  • @thalonen mate you honestly havent Got a clue , have you heard of the holy trinity , jesus christ is one part of that trinity and to say that mary was just a woman is just stupity , mary is the immaculate conception , this the deal the holy trinity , mary after that you dont get any higher , jesus said unless you eat my body and drink my blood theres no salvation ie THE EUCHARIST so all other cults religious WHATEVER are just a Waste of time FACT

  • @mufc99ok

Mary has nothing to do with the trinity, God, Jesus and Holy Spirit.

  • @thalonen im talking about mary is second only to the trinity thats how much god respected her so if god thinks that of mary everother so called religion should as well

  • @mufc99ok

I'm sure Mary is fine, but you can't pray to her because she can't hear anybody's prayers. We are supposed to pray to the Father directly in Jesus' name, we can also pray to Holy Spirit (or jesus). I know this for a fact because we have conversations every day, almost every time. We have a real relationship, it has been so for 36 years. Anybody can experience the same who is born again, gets baptized and welcomes Jesus and Holy Spirit into their lives.

  • @thalonen you honestly havent got a clue mate i take it your protestant there is no salvation outside the catholic church unless you eat my body and drink my blood there is no salvation ie the most holy eucharist only catholics go to heaven , it takes a lot more than saying jesus i accept you as my saviour it takes a whole lot more than that , theres only one catholic church how many other protestants so called churchs are there all false who actually insult christ and his mother ,

  • @mufc99ok

I do all the things Jesus commands us to do and I do them on a daily basis. Healing, casting out evil spirits, preaching the Good news, baptizing people etc. I have seen Jesus many times. I don't subscribe to any religion and I don't care what faith anyone belongs to, just like the Father doesn't care. Denominations and churches mean NOTHING to Him, He is only interested in spending one on one time with us.

  • @thalonen how can you cast out evil spirits you,re not catholic priest or exorcist god alone has given them the power to cast out the devil noone else and as for jesus not caring about denominations and churchs how can you possibly say that , let me tell you buddy there was a case in iowa in the 1930,s of possession and it took the exorcists 23 days to drive the devil out i doubt it very much if you could do that , how can you baptise catholic priests are the only ones on earth

  • @mufc99ok

I cast out evil spirits almost every day, Jesus has given all born again, Spirit filled believers the authority over sickness and evil spirits. I'm surprised how many have missed that. I see many miracles all the time, it's only natural when you know Holy Spirit in person. Luk 9:1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. This same authority is given to ALL true believers!

  • @mufc99ok

Even A CHILD CAN CAST OUT DEMONS in Jesus name! The priest that you mention were probably not true Christians. Besides, I don't believe that they actually got anything done, seems to me like the demons were toying with them. Casting out demons is no big deal, it's easy when you have authority over them. I don't need any props, crucifix, water, mumbo jumbo or what so ever (like bogus priests). All I need is the authority given to me by Jesus Christ, my Lord.

  • @thalonen i think you,re full of shit mate

  • @mufc99ok I love you anyway :-)

  • @thalonen i read the mystical city of god just might open you,re eyes to the truth

  • @thalonen I think you're the one who needs scriptural study. The angel gabriel tells Mary "Hail! Full of Grace!". She is also told "Blessed are you among women" during the visitation. Neither of these scriptural references suggests that Mary has some equality to every other women in creation. When Jesus turns the water into wine, he does so by the prompting of Mary after saying "Woman, what would you have me do?". Again, no where in scripture does Jesus ask anyone "what do you want me to do?"

  • @themacdaddytj He said...

Jhn 2:4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

  • @thalonen There is an understood openness to a command within the diction of the passage, which is why some translations have it as "What would you have me do". But if we go by your passage, we see Jesus saying "What do you expect me to do? My time hasn't come yet"....

  • @thalonen ...Yet, Mary appears to ignore this, telling the servants "Do whatever he tells you". She appears to ignore it because the understanding in the original language is an openness to a command. And though Christ's hour had not yet come, he still abided by Mary's pleading, changing water into wine. He did not refuse her request, nor press the fact that his hour hadn't yet come. Which, again, is one of the examples in scripture for Mary's intercession with her Son.

  • @thalonen It's a little funny how you use religious "mumbo jumbo" to communicate your own religious mumbo jumbo.

  • If you knew scripture you would be Catholic. Anyone who honestly endeavors to follow scripture in its purity winds up converting to catholicism. Every time! Happens countless times every single year, throughout the world.

  • Of all the evangelism of Jesus christ, you did not hear it .. it is the rosary u claim the Lady", gave u, which was not written in the bible is the one you will meditate on. I believe that Jesus Christ has taught us how to pray.. "Our Father who art in heaven.. " , i didnt hear him mention Mary.. in the Lord's Prayer.. ,

  • Jesus Christ said "I am the way the truth and the life no one cometh to the father except through me".. he did not say through my Mother 1st then me. No man shares his glory with him, All Glory Belongs to God. Mary is was used by God, used by God to bring his purpose to being.. as we all are God's instrument used in one way or the other , all for his purpose. "Roman Catholics: Mary cannot hear prayers...."

  • The Rosary of Mary has stop wars throughout all time

  • I agree that Mary the mother of Jesus our Lord was a wonderful woman. However, only through Jesus Christ can we enter the kingdom of Heaven. Not one disciple, nor Jesus himself tells anyone to pray to Mary. "Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?"

  • @MrFaithful69 The Hail Mary prayer comes from the salutation of the angel Gabriel. We didn't invent it. Mary herself says 'From this day all generations will call be blessed FOR the almighty has done great things for me and holy is his name'. In other words the reason why we revere her in the recital of the angelic salutation is BECAUSE God did great things through Mary. It is not a Catholic belief that Mary herself leads us to salvation, but to Jesus, who himself alone leads us to salvation

  • @MrFaithful69 Also, to call her a wonderful woman is limiting when you consider the life of purity and obedience lived by Mary. To follow her son to the calvary, to witness the scourging, and torturous death of her son at the crucifixion..."wonderful woman" doesn't begin to classify her. My mother is a wonderful woman. Mary is substantially greater.

  • @themacdaddytj Mary was a sinful person like all other humans, it's in the Bible which you clearly don't read.

  • @thalonen All other humans? Are you saying Jesus was sinful too? I do read the bible. What's more, I understand it. I even understand its own teaching that it is not the single reference of Christian faith, but that tradition is also vital. Read 2 Timothy-2:2 and 2:15. The tradition of the Church-for A THOUSAND YEARS--was that in order for Mary to conceive the Son of God, she had to be a sinless human being, because God can not be conceived in a vessel of sin.

  • @themacdaddytj

I'm not saying that Jesus is sinful, but He died in sin, since He bore the sins of the world so that we might live.

    Tradition kills. Peace

  • @thalonen I do follow your logic. But to bare the sins of the world is not the same as being in a sinful condition. Its the difference between "taking on" a thing, and "assuming" a thing. For example, to take on a responsibility is to carry out the actions of that responsibility temporarily until the actual person responsible is able to return to the duty. To ASSUME a responsibility is to actually become the person responsible from now on. They're very different things

  • @thalonen If to conceive the Son of God she had to be insulated from sin, then she had to be sinless ALWAYS, even after the incarnation, because sinfulness (or sinLESSness) is a CONDITION of one's humanity. Not a STATE of one's humanity. In other words, it doesn't change. You're either of a condition of sinfulness, or you are not. If Christ had to be conceived in a vessel pure of sin, that vessel had to be of a sinless condition from the moment of her conception as well as throughout her life

  • @themacdaddytj

The Bible tells us that Mary was NOT sin free!!! (why don't you read it?)

And she is no longer a virgin, she has given birth to many children.

Jesus had brothers and sisters as well, it's all in the Bible.

  • @themacdaddytj - The Blessed Virgin Mary is the Theotokos, the Mother of God or the God Bearer. Protestant heretics deny this reality. Moreover, they seek to impuge and suppress and demean all that is the Mother of Our Lord.

  • RE P

  • Catholics: Mary CANNOT hear your prayers!

  • @TheCanMan888

Research Fatima - Hiroshima - Guadeloupe. She was His mother - the chosen Woman from Genesis to crush the head of the demon - full of grace - no sin - the ark of the covenant where God lives - there can be no evil. Think about it. She gave Her consent - and I for one am forever grateful and I love her.

  • @TheCanMan888 AMEN AND AMEN MY BROTHER.

  • it isnt NO GOD only they only wanna your money ,,,, look at they jewels its bought from your pocket

  • remember that not just roman catholic but many other catholic also use this rosary.

  • All you Pharisees! believe in jesus an turn from your own ways, for your works are a filthy rag before him, saying th rosary wont bring you closer to him, a man is not justified by observing the law but by faith in the lord jesus christ, read Galatians 3:10-14

  • @nail160 Shut up

  • the mystery is that it is pagan in origin borrow from other false faiths... what does that tell you... its been used to promote fasle beliefs and practices that wernt used by the early christians... why does a catholic need it.. cant they pray with out it...

  • @loudmouthspeaker ignorant bigot

  • @Enigmatik691 ignorant... nope... i dont accept the lies and false practices of the catholic church...

  • @loudmouthspeaker Thats exactly what I mean by IGNORANT go and study the history of the Church.

  • @Enigmatik691 now that is what i call a no brainer.... the catholic church admits that it has borrowed pagan beliefs and practices... it even uses pagan churches for its own use... the rosary is used by many pagan sects.... if you cant see the tree because if the forrest the church has blinded you..

  • @loudmouthspeaker As I said IGMORANCE AT ITS BEST. after Christ paganism was transformed to fit Chritian faith. Read how Paul adressed the Greeks when he talked about the UNKNOWN god referring to a statue that Greeks named Unknown God.

  • @Enigmatik691 what is ignorant about catholic faith (do share).

  • @loudmouthspeaker you are making such ignorant comments here! do you not know how to respect ones religon?

  • @DragonInk101 one has the right to question any teaching that is put forward... the bible tells us to study and to see if everything lines up with Gods Word..

Gods Word is our plumb line - Gods Word leads a sinner to Jesus and salvation the catholic church places people under bondage

  • @loudmouthspeaker the only person who is ignorant is you. You talk about things you have not understanding about. "catholic mass, purgatory, pennanace, the rosary, the visitations of mary, mary's sinless birth & assention" were all taught and believed by the Early Christian communities in the 1st, 2nd,3rd centuries.

You should really study up on what your talking about before you make such foolish arguments.

  • UMMM! Ignorant? HAH! I AM CATHOLIC you idiot. this is my religon. I do know about all these things, therefore I do not have to study up on what I am talking about.

  • @loudmouthspeaker like i said in response to your other post: The Catholic Church compiled the bible with 73 books at the end of the 4th century, if the Church is evil and pagan rationally its product......THE HOLY BIBLE, is evil and pagan too so why use it?

  • @Enigmatik691 ignorant - nope... just because catholics are told to believe and accept everything the pope tells you.... catholics cant think for them selves.. they are forced to believe.. alot like puppets

  • The bible says to honor our Father and Mother should we not honor and love the mother of our savior.

  • @swatson1190 - that doesnt mean kissing a statue of mary's feet or bowing to the statue.... get real and wake up its a big difference...

  • Matthew 6 clearly shows us how to pray. Why would we EVER presume to add or improve to what the LORD Jesus gave us directly? Read the Bible, ask the Holy Spirit for Wisdom in the reading, and you will never need theologies and practices made by man.

  • @JCServant007 spare us the silly preaching please.

  • Comment removed

  • @Enigmatik691 Sure....as long as you spare us the rhotorical replies.

I hardly think 500 character replies as preaching. At any rate, no one is forcing you to read. After all, unlike the church, here, everyone has the right to express their view point and whatever God lays on their heart, just like some of the early church gatherings. Go figure

  • @JCServant007 hi, dont you know that only catholics have the right to express their false beliefs... you on the other hand cant... why is that....and they dont like to be questioned or exposed... they hate been shown up....

  • @loudmouthspeaker false beliefs? why would you think catholics (me), say false beliefs? your comment doesnt make sense in the least bit!

  • @DragonInk101 false beliefs look at the catholic mass, purgatory, pennanace, the rosary, the visitations of mary, mary's sinless birth & assention... shall i go on or do you get the drift?

  • Praying to Mary or anyone other than God is necromancy. Read your Bible. "For whoever does these things is detestable to the Lord."

  • @johnthreesixteen316 websters dictonary defines necromancy as: conjuration of the spirits of the dead for purposes of magically revealing the future or influencing the course of events. Asking the saints who are very much alive in heaven isnt magic nor it is to reveal the future course of events.

In Rev 8 the angels are offering up the prayers of the saints for those on earth before the throne of God, so asking for the prayers of the saints is very biblical

  • @johnthreesixteen316 What is the difference between you asking your pastor who is alive on earth to pray for you and me asking Mary who is very much alive in heaven to pray for me? James 5 says the prayers of a righteous man is very powerful before God. Whos prayers are more powerful then the woman who said yes to God and brought our savior, Jesus Christ into the world?

  • @carthage397 Prayers of a righteous man is very powrful before GOD, not Mary or any saint.

  • @johnthreesixteen316 yes the prayers of a righteous man are very powerful before God. The righteous person in this case is Mary or a Saint or your Pastor or my Brother, etc.

  • Interesting.. can u quotes where is was written as such in the Bible?.., The Bible is the Infallible word of God.., you do not create ur own meaning...by either adding or removing from.., Meaning of Christianity for People who claim Christianity as a religion, which i believe is not just a religion but a way of life.. is "Follower of Jesus Christ" and if u are his follower then u must follow all that is written in his words, without adding or removing from it..

  • @mercyshalom can you quote where in the bible it claims to be the sole authority of the faith? Can you?? Can you also tell me by what teaching authority did Christians practice the faith for the over 300 years before the bible was compiled? If you place exclusive authoruty in your very narow reading of scripture, I'm sure you have responses to these challenges

  • @carthage397 What's the difference? If someone asks a pastor to pray for them, I would assume the pastor is alive and can hear the request. Mary is dead. She can't hear anything. Would you pray to a dead pastor or priest? No. So don't pray to Mary. Pray to Christ.

  • @johnthreesixteen316 ill ask again, please cite the passage you quoted.

Also if Mary is dead and cant hear me then why did John see a vision of her in Rev 12. Better yet if people who have died cant hear us then please explain for the the 3 accounts of the transfiguration where Moses and Elijah (who had been dead for hundreds of years) appeared to Peter, James and John while Jesus CONVERSED WITH THEM!

So your stance that people who have died cant hear us is flat out unbiblical.

  • @johnthreesixteen316 Also in Rev 8:3-4 where the Angels offer up the prayers of the Saints before God, if the angels and saints in heaven (who are alive) cant hear us and are dead, then please explain the above text.

Also what is the point of being saved if your just dead after you die, wouldn't you be ALIVE in heaven?

Have a little humility and just admit your wrong, so we can move on, but of course you wont, you just avoid the points i made and move on to another one of your gripes.

  • @johnthreesixteen316 Please site the chapter and verse for the scripture you just quoted. You cant just pluck a verse out of context and make believe it applies to the conversation at hand. Im pretty sure you are quoting from Psalms or Isaiah, and i doubt it is talking about the communion of saints. you cant take scripture out of context and try to apply it to things its not talking about, thats dishonest and disrespecting the word of God I would like to read that verse in context. thank you

  • @carthage397 If you were familiar with your Bible, you would know where the verse is from. I'll give you a hint.....the Old Testament.

  • @johnthreesixteen316 see this sarcasm isnt necessary. Christians dont suppose to act like this. I told you the passage is probably from the Old Testament. Knowing the exact chapter and verse of a passage doesn't necessary prove that one knows scripture. Scripture was meant to be read in context not to proof text to support your belief system. Do you know the exact chapter and verse of the 10s of thousands of verses? The answer is no, so by your logic you arent familiar with your Bible.

  • @carthage397 if u knew ur Bible , u should know where the verse is..

  • @mercyshalom "if u knew ur Bible , u should know where the verse is.." what is this in reference to? what statement did i said that you are responding to?

Also being able to cite verses isnt proof of "knowing" the bible. Protestants can site chapter and verse and proof text yet they proof text out of context and dont understand what they are reading.

the bible is meant to be read in context, not to be used as a word search puzzle to try to prove false doctrine made by men 100 years ago

  • @johnthreesixteen316 ... Thank you for rational thinking and sound doctrine. It is so hard to believe that millions of people say they love God and commit this sin of idol worship every single day. Keep up the good work.

  • thank god he so gave his life for our sin

    why is this sorrowful ????

    I dont get it

mary is the queen of heaven

    what scripture is this

  • @530HELP The sorrowful mysteries focus on the suffering and death of Christ, so this is sorrowful in a sense that Our Lord was tourtured, mocked and executed, it is great that through this passion we are redeemed but it is till sorrowful. There are also the Glorious, Luminous and Joyful Mysteries focusing on the Resurrection, Ministry and Birth of Christ.

  • I would say catholic imagination

just like peter was the first pope and jesus handed him the keys to the kingdom.

I never heard anyone call peter HOLY FATHER

    Roman catholicism makes me sick.

mary is the queen of heaven sounds so satanic.

Saints that are dead are alive in christ and dead to the world.

  • its interesting how something that you obviously know nothing about can make you sick. If you knew scripture in context and read any of the writings of the early church you would see that your dead wrong. Whats also interesting is not only does the Catholic Church (Roman Catholic is one of the 21 rites) believe these things about Mary but the 400 million Orthodox Christians do as well. About 77% of Christians believe this and they happen to be the Churches that date back to Christ

  • How does something so evident in scripture as Mary in Heaven crowned sound satanic? Its in scripture. To say that saints are dead??? isnt the reward of being a follower of Christ everlasting life? The saints were obviously followers of Christ, so wouldnt they be ALIVE in heaven? If you say they cant hear us then please explain the transfiguration account of Jesus as well as Rev 8 where the Angels offer up the prayers of the Saints.

  • If you knew scripture in context you would see the fulfillment of Isaiah 22 in Matthew 16th where Jesus gives Peter the keys to the kingdom of Heaven and gives him authority as the head of the Universal Church until the end of time.

Another thing that you should know is that the Catholic Church compiled the bible with 73 books at the end of the 4th century. So if the Catholic Church is in error then logic would dictate that its book, The Bible, is erroneous as well.

  • The Catholic Church being in error does not dictate that the Bible is erronius. The logical rub yet philosophical beauty of the Bible is that it is subject to interpretation. I'm not saying that any denomination interprets the Bible wrongly. The beauty of the whole thing is that it identifies objective moral truths (don't kill, rape steal etc) and subjective morals (nearly everything arguable). The point is that the infallibility of the Book does not requite the infallibility of the Church.

  • Interpretation by any Church body is different then compilation. In the above statement you talk about interpretation, im talking about compilation. Many protestants say the Catholic Church was mis guided, pagan, erroneous, the list goes on and on. My point is that since history shows that the Catholic Church decided what books would constitute the Canon of Scripture; if the Church was in error then their judgment regarding the 73 book canon of scripture would logically be wrong as well.

  • @carthage397 I'm not sure I follow your logic correctly. What you're essentially saying is that if the Catholic Church was wrong then they're wrong. Duh. Is it that: If they were wrong about what constitutes "scripture" then they're interpretations would be wrong as well? This also does not follow. They obviously couldn't include every text, the mere scope of that is just daunting. They decided on the 73 book scripture because they felt that those books contained the most vital wisdom.

  • The reason i believe the Bible is the perfect, inspired word of God is because i believe the Catholic Church which decided what books were inspired was and is under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. If the 4th century Church was just a bunch of misguided, corrupt men, lacking God's guidance then how could they possibly discern or even want to discern the truly inspired books from the false ones?

  • @carthage397 And nobody knows the scripture in context. None of us were actually there. We are blessed to have been told how it was in the scriptures but none of us actually have a sense of how it was. What we do is apply the scripture to our own lives according to what is clearly stated and what we believe is implied. And we do this by way of analogy, interpretation and devotion.

  • also regarding your statement where you said nobody knows scripture in its context, i would have to disagree. Have you read the writings of the Early Church? The disciples of the apostles and their disciples interpret much of scripture in their their homlies, catechetical instructions and apologetical works in the 1st, 2nd 3rd centuries and beyond.

  • @carthage397 I have read a lot of the early Church writings, buggered if I could quote any of them though. They're descriptions evoke sensation but my point is that we can't begin to know what it was actually like. You can tell me about how much it hurts to have a broken leg, but until my own leg is actually broken I have no true concept of what it actually is. We do not have a full concept of what the world was like in that time because our own world is so different.

  • @sirsteven88 the thing is that we do have a very good understanding of the world at the time. The Catholic and Orthodox Churches have been around since the time of Christ and the apostles, we have many writings, historical and anthropological accounts from before the 1st century all the way up to now. Catholic theologians who are learned in the ancient cultures and civilizations have studied these writings in the ancient tongues throughout the 2000 year existence of the church.

  • @sirsteven88 The Catholic/Orthodox Church believes in the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, baptismal grace, the communion of saints, you are saved by faith working in love, the 7 sacraments, the list goes on and on. Beliefs of a group of people really influence how they live their lives. If one believe all they need to do for salvation is an altar call and nothing else, its putting their salvation at risk and your not gonna see many loving charitable works coming out of that person

  • Have you read about the early Church councils? (constantinople, ephesus, nicaea, chalcedon, etc) At the numerous early Church councils and synods the Bishops and leaders of the Church formulated the very christological doctrines you believe in (trinity, dual nature of Christ, etc) from scripture and tradition. So the early Church which is now the Catholic and Orthodox Churches knew scripture in its context, interpreted it, compiled the bible with 73 books etc. So we owe the Church alot.

  • @carthage397 I never meant to say we didn't owe them anything. Nearly every aspect of modern Christianity is owed to them. The early Church, which is now every denomination Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant or otherwise. I'm of the opinion that everybody believes the exact same thing and we're all just arguing over the semantics of it.

  • @sirsteven88 if you look at the churches today and you trace their lineage back, only three church groups make it back to the 1st century, the Catholic, Orthodox and ancient apostolic churches of the east. Protestantism didnt really come on to the christian scene until 1517. Also our believes are very different and very crucial to christian truth the protestants are. The doctrines of the rapture and once saved always saved are innovations of the last 200 years.

  • @sirsteven88 i really appreciate your kindness and sincerity, many "Christians" on youtube hide behind their screen name and say some of the most vile, hatefilled things, so i really appreciate your civility. My main point is if you really want Christian truth read the writings of the guys who were taught by the apostles. the stream is always clearer when it is closer to the source. The many Protestant theologies barley scratch the surface when it comes to the fullness of the Christian faith.

  • there are over 40,000 protestant denominations, they all have the bible and they all believe they can understand Christian truth with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, yet they have 40,000 different interpretations of scripture. The Catholic Church, though not perfect, has taught the same thing for almost 2,000 years. If you read the teachings of the Catholic Church today and then read the teachings of the Church in the 1st/2nd century you will see the same thing.

  • in reference to your question about Queen of Heaven, there are several biblical references that support this Doctrine, I will give you 2. Rev 12:1-5 paraphrasing, a woman with a crown giving birth to the king of the nations, this is a heavenly vision by the Apostle John. Secondly in Luke 1, when the Angel Gabriel appears to Mary the angel humbly address her with the regal term "Hail". In other instances involving angels this is not the case, in 1 John, John mistakens the angel for God.

  • @530HELP but with Mary, the Angels (which are superior to humans) actually bow down to her in a sense and address her with awe as a queen would be addressed. Also in the old testament the king of israel would rule alongside his queen mother, not his wife, this is a foreshadowing of the king of kings Jesus ruling along side with his queen mother, Mary.

I would suggest you read what the Early Christians had to say about Mary in the 1st 3 centuries of christianity, very interesting.

  • Please pray for the Catholic Church it's priests and nuns and all it's members. And all the people who love God.

  • Im not a christian but I always wanted to know what a Rosary was.

  • The Rosary is all forms of prayer rolled into one. it is a physical prayer, verbal prayer, a form of meditation and by encompassing these things, we are raised to a level of spiritual contemplation.

  • I try to pray the Rosary every day.The Rosary is an

awesome prayer. And will definitely draw you to Jesus. The Rosary opens many doors. Just give

Mary a chance and see for yourself.

  • @tbar51 .That is idol worship!! You will all be here during the Great Tribulation! Mary is not the interecessor between God and man. She paid no price for mankind and even she needed to be saved through YAHUSHUA (Jesus). YAHUSHUA alone is the intercessor between God and man. He alone steped down from HIS throne, HE alone suffered, HE alone took on the wrath of YAHUVEH, He alone rose from the Grave and HE alone is seated at the right hand of God.

  • @tbar51 Where in the bible did it say that we can, should,or allowed to use a rosary to draw closer to YAHUSHUA? Do you know that Buddhist monks use the same prayer beads except without the cross? Did you know that is where the Catholics got the rosary from? What will you do when you stand before YAHUVEH and HE asks you where in HIS word did HE say to use the rosary? Mary was a lost wicked sinner like everyone else at that time and now and needed a savior.YAHUVEH is judging HIS house first!

  • @T2Todd2 wow you really dont know scripture. Have you every read Luke 1. The Angel Gabriel salutes Mary by saying "Hail, Full of Grace, the lord i with thee, you have found favor with God" According to scripture Mary is full of God's Grace (God's own life and love before she even said yes to carrying the God-Man in her womb)

An Angel, a being who is much greater then a human addresses the teenage mary with such reverence and awe.

  • @carthage397 . So what if Gabriel said that. God favored David, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, and YAHUSHUA said that john the baptist was the greatest human being that walked the earth, even greater than the prophets because of his devotion to God. But never did he say the he was holy and never did he declare any of the persons involved in God's plan to be holy. He said be ye holy as I am holy, so I guess he was excluding Mary then because she was already holy.

  • @T2Todd2 its interesting how you just drop all the "mary is vile and wicked" without a word. "so what if gabriel said that" - this is the bible man! isnt the bible the perfect word of God, if you say so what why not say so work for John 3:16 or any other verse. you cant dismiss biblical passages because you dont agree with them.

  • @carthage397 . When Mary visited YAHUSHUA one of his disciples said YAHUSHUA your mother is here and HE responded, who is my mother? -anyone who serves the Lord. Mary served the Lord like everyone else and should be esteemed as everyone else but not glorified as you do. I have been in a catholic church for 6 years so I know. Tell me again where in the bible does it say we should pray to Mary for sinners? Nowhere.

  • @T2Todd2 James 5 says you must pray for one another and the prayers of the righteous are powerful before God. the Church isnt limited to the people on earth, Revelations 8 says the angels in heaven are offering up the prayers of the saints. So the bible proves that people in heave are praying for and are aware of people on earth, so why would "the most blessed amongst women" the mother of God be excluded from this?

  • @carthage397 . Actually revelation 8 says no such thing and you need to repent for adding to the bible as it says in the very last chapter of revelation. It says the angels will be pouring out God's wrath on this world and in Rev. 14 the angels are warning makind to repent or they will burn. Yes I honor and respect my mother and father because it is part of the ten commandments but I do not revere them as if they are God and I do that by not praying to them.

  • @T2Todd2 go preach your stupidities somewhere else.

  • @carthage397 . In addition what the angel said was true because she was favored by God but it did not mean he was praising her. As the angel said to John who started worshipping him, no don't worship me because I am just a servant like you who live on earth. The angels recognize that they aren't to be esteemed and not to esteem any but God because we are all servants of God. The bible says we are to fear God. That mean show reverence and respect and acknowledge his authority to judge you (cont)

  • @T2Todd2 yes and like i said before catholics dont praise and worship mary, we honor her as the mother of God, we honor her just like Jesus honored his mother. Also Reverence doesnt not equal worship, where are you getting this from? Dont you respect, honor and love your biological mother?yet we call the Mother of God vile? do you see what you are saying? i dont think Jesus would approve of you calling his Mohter Vile.

  • @carthage397 . So if we are to show reverence to God and Mary is obviously not God then why should we show reverence to Mary as if she is God. That is idol worship. And why is that the catholic church has changed the second commandment? Wicked. Anyways YAHUVEH has prophesied that HE is going to destroy the Catholic Church whether you believe it or not and you are a fool for thinking the rapture and the GT aren't real. In fact you are most likely going to be here during the tribulation.

  • @T2Todd2 my catholic bible has the 2nd commandment, and since we donot worship anyone by God we are not committing idolary, if you continue to say other wise then you are breaking the 8th commandement and bearing false witness against your neighbor.

God is going to destroy the Catholic Church? Hes going to destroy the Church that he founded, the church that complied the bible?

here comes the name calling...im a fool? why dont you look up john nelson darby the guy who made up the rapture?

  • @carthage397 . Mary was just as hell deserving as all human beings are. The bible says man's heart is desperately wicked, who can know it? It also no one is good, not one. God chooses his servants based upon their willingness to obey HIM, not because they are holy but because HE is holy and they are willing. If Mary didn't deserve hell then she didn't need a savior and she would have been just as worthy to die on the cross as YAHUSHUA was.YAHUVEH is going to destroy the Catholic Church very soon.

  • @T2Todd2 Mary did need a savior, she was preserved from sin by God, just how we were saved from sin. Mary is Hell deserving? are you insane!! The most blessed amongst women is hell deserving? Why dont you read the writings of the early church in the 1st and 2nd century and see what they early christians who were taught by the apostles have to say about Mary.

the early church would call what you are saying heretical. You have you faith based in the teachings of 19th century men not God

  • @T2Todd2 also if you keep it up with name calling and the saying the Church will be destroyed and this other nonsense; if you dont stick to historical fact and ration; and selectively ignoring parts of my arguments and converse in the light of 1 Peter 3:15-16 with respect and kindness this convo is over.

I respect you as a human being but if you cant offer me that same respect then i rather not waste my time. take care

  • @T2Todd2 Rev 8:3-4 "Another angel came and stood at the altar, 3 holding a gold censer. He was given a great quantity of incense to offer, along with the prayers of all the holy ones, on the gold altar that was before the throne.

The smoke of the incense along with the prayers of the holy ones went up before God from the hand of the angel."

ok your continuing with the ignorance, this convo is over. Hope you wake up one day.

  • @T2Todd2 a couple of verses later in Luke 1 mary meets elizabeth and john the baptist in elizabeth's womb leeps for joy at the sound of mary's voice. The old elizabeth greets the young mary and says "how is it that the Mother of my Lord should come to visit me". Then the holy spirit speaking through Elizabeth says " Blessed are you amongst women and the blessed is the fruit of your womb"

The 3rd person of the blessed trinity ,the holy spirit deems mary most blessed amongst women"

  • @T2Todd2 then Mary goes on to sing "my soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord", Mary's very being reflects the greatness of her creator God. "from thence forth, All Generations will call me blessed" , All generations will call Mary blessed

According to scripture Mary doesnt sounds like "a vile sinner" in the least. Mary was prepared to be the Mother of the 2nd person of the Blessed trinity in the flesh. and the Holy sprit said she is "the most blessed amongst women".

  • @T2Todd2 Also Catholics (as well as Orthodox) christians donot worship Mary, we honor her as the mother of God (Jesus Christ is God). If you read the writings of the Early Christians in the 1st/2nd century (the people who were taught by the apostles) they have the same love and respect (not worship) for Mary as the present day Catholics and Orthodox (because the early christians were catholic/orthodox).

  • @T2Todd2 You should read the official teachings of the Catholic Church before you condemn it for something it doesnt teach nor believe (the worship of Mary). The Catholic church doesnt teach that Mary should be worshiped, but honored and loved as the mother of God (Jesus). You should better research you facts before you make such a foolish, nasty statement about the Mother of Our Lord and Savior.

  • Also just for some information your understanding of the "rapture" and tribulation is a false heretical doctrine. The rapture doctrine was invented by John Nelson Darby in the 1820's. for 1800 years no Catholic, Protestant or Orthodox Christian ever interperted those biblical passages to mean a secret rapture. When the early christians did sermons on those passages in the 2nd century they too didnt interpret it to be a rapture

  • Thankx for posting from the vvife of a Catholic deacon <3 love it.

  • Pretty woman!! I want this channel. it seems that they have better production than the catholic channel that I am used to

  • yeah. completely agree.

  • what language is this? Hebrew?

  • The Rosary....the most powerful weapon in a Catholic's arsenal!!

And no offense but while I kind of like this show, the host seems phony lol

  • I like her voice and it's very clear, however it would be great if she could just wear slightly more modest clothing, particularly in the episodes on religious communities, Intense Spiritual Lives, with the Brooklyn Carmelites and Franciscan Friar of the Renewal. No offense meant to Carolyn though. She seems like a really nice person :)

  • Go CFR!

  • She doesn't seem phony. People have trouble believing that there are English Catholics and so are not used to her accent.

  • Actual it isn't just a Catholic thing, it is used in Budhism and Islam too. It is all forms of prayer rolled into one. It is physical, verbal, meditative and contemplative.

  • Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee.

  • @mrmartinmartin blessed art thouh amoung woman, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus!
