    OriginalNakedChef

  • nice recipe. a good alternative use of fish fillets. i'm assuming you can do similar with any other type of fish, correct? will give this a go with flounder.

    cheers.

  • @kumquatsta

Most fish should work well as long as it is boneless. I have not used flounder, as it's not easily available here. I looked it up though and that should work well.

When you are using different types of fish. If when you are making the patties it's not binding together very well you can add a small amount of egg and breadcrumbs.

    Good luck and enjoy!

    OriginalNakedChef

  • I have never had a salmon burger .

  • Thank you ^^

  • @TheMangoesonrun

Your very welcome and thank you for watching :)

    OriginalNakedChef

  • Nice, ONC. You make it hold together without a scrambled egg binding or bread crumb filler.

  • @ZombiedustXXX

Yes when the salmon is blended and made into a burger it does hold together well. Once cooked it really firms up nicely.

If using some white fish it may benefit from a tiny amount of egg & bread crumbs to help bind it all together.

    OriginalNakedChef

  • yummy looks good

  • @Missyplaymate3

Always very nice when you drop in and I hope you enjoy!

    OriginalNakedChef

  • Would smoked salmon work? I have some in the fridge. This looks great chef!

  • @RichyJam2011

Sorry for the slow reply. Smoked salmon should work quite well. Most fish will work as long as there are no bones. If you had some white fish, you could also mix smoked salmon and white fish together.

    OriginalNakedChef

  • Salmon, cod, haddock will all go nicely. But this is salmon at it's best. Yummy. Not joking but just had it tonight and yummy scrummy is the word. Thanks Chef. Went well with my fresh salad. Gave it a miss on the rice.On my diet now, thanks Chef!

  • @eggnogonthebog

As always thank you for a very nice comment. Glad you enjoyed the recipe and good luck with the diet.

As time goes on I will try and upload the odd diet recipe.

Unfortunately there will be the occasional recipe that you may have to watch with your eyes closed, as some of the forthcoming recipe will be for viewers that are not on a diet.

Have a nice week and keep up the good work!

  • Anything to substitute for the correander? My dad's allergic :S

  • @Blarpacho Maybe some fresh parsley, tarragon or dill.

  • @Blarpacho

RichyJam2011 has pointed out the 3 best ones parsley, tarragon or dill. You could also possibly use marjoram.

I hope it goes well :)
