you can still have tattoos in the military. the thing is though, you can't join spec ops(force recon, seals, sf, rangers, etc. etc.) if you have tattoos.

tattoos can only cover 25% of your body and are not allowed to be seen when wearing a class A uniform (no face neck or hand tattoos) and must be appropriate for "good conduct and discipline"
