The re-release of this game was on my birthday, my dad bought it for me. I had never played a Ratchet and Clank game before, and upon first seeing it I thought "Wow, this looks stupid". I started playing it and my god was I wrong! Easily one of my favourite games. I watch (or listen) to videos like this and so much nostalgia rushes through me! I miss my PS2 and I miss this game!

@EmperorXaozx You can beat Protopet using only the fully updated shield. Lol. But Dr. Nefarious is the hardest boss all-time. Chairman Drek was quite hard too. And Tachyon almost impossible without the R.Y.N.O.

@tommi2580 Protopet by itself did huge amounts of damage,but it was the extra enemies. Drek was hard to beat without the R.Y.N.O since he has a high defense. Emperor "Percival" Tachyon was too short for me,but the thing that got me was if I died the soundtrack changed.

Maybe because it's not robot full of guns o.0 Though Thugs4Less helped in that with his GIANT robot FULL OF GUNS, R & C 2 wasn't too easy after all. You can beat Drek whitout R.Y.N.O. as I succeeded with 2 nd try. Emperor Percival Tachyon is really hard to beat whitout R.Y.N.O. Try it.

@tommi2580 I beat the games,I know. Drek,is hard to beat without the R.Y.N.O for the backup plan. Otherwise if you have the PDA (?) you will eventually run out of bolts for the devestator. The Protopet had such much damage resistance then later in the fight it had the tanks and soldiers. Tachyon's boss fight has only one problem,ledges. For instance in the second part,if you try to dodge you fall off by a careless mistake. The only hard boss in the game was Captain Slag. He landed on me+electric

I finished it on the first attempt. Altgough I had shield charger on almost all the time. Without it, it took 3 attempts. And it was still a close call. My reflexes are a bit slow. Still, it was one of the best boss fights ever.

Just warning you that Klunk in Secret Agent Clank is near impossible on Challenge Mode. All I can say to you if you ever get the game. Try and come prepared before facing him (As many bolts as possible for the PDA, As many weapons Upgraded as possible too.)
