  • lot faster than mine lol

  • You should put a blower on the Jeep.

  • I feel like I get better times in my 5speed, But then again I have 31's.

  • @lastshot04 with the auto and 3.73 gears it's slow as hell

  • Pretty sweet video. I have a Liberty 4x4 and it will do 0-60 in 10sec. Won't be anymore when I lift it next week XD. Oh, and people it's a Jeep! Not a race car.

  • you guys are all dumb. It's a jeep, they aren't race cars

  • I think I saw a dude in a wheel chair pass you up.

  • when it comes to the end of the world or any bad storm i'd rather be in a big four wheel drive then a fast car :)

  • you're dangerous

  • I have a tip fo you: go dual turbo.

  • Stop calling it slow, u have to take everything into consideration. First of all its a wrangler, its essentially a big square going down the road, not a lot of aerodynamics. Then when u take into consideration the lift, big tires, and the 3 speed, this jeep isnt slow for its purpose. Flippin cause its "slow" is like flipping out that a corvette cant mud bog. Its a jeep not a sports car =]

  • It is slow, lol.

    Here's a quote for you:

"America's only real sports car" Enzo Ferrari commenting on the Jeep

  • @Lammy08 to bad enzo ferrari got his ass kicked in the le mans race and many others by carroll shelby and his cobra as well as the gt 40 in a separate class obviously

  • awesome!! my jeep wont even go 60!!!!! Of coarse its 46 years old hahahaha

  • 46 years old!? nice what do you got?

  • 63 willys with a 134 F-head sitting on 33"s

  • Hell I hit 60 waaayy faster than that in my 97 sport with 185k on it lol

  • My lifted Jeep Comanche gets to 60 in 11 :)

  • @ojd1990 my gc its 60 in 7

  • @yotaridnhi1029

not bad at all the a 4wd vehicle unintended for speed

  • Must be a 4 speed auto tranny with an inline 6 engine right?

  • 3speed auto

  • with O/D

  • Definitely. The video I have is the Inline 4 and 3 speed. 11 seconds slower

  • imagine the 2.4 letre 4cyl slow but ok for a jeep with an lift 13sec

  • with big tires and 4in lift i guess thats not to bad

  • Did You Have An A Volvo 850 TurboCharger???

  • shift points blow. unless there is no possible way it can rev any higher... but they still blow =/

  • it can if I shift it manually. this was just a quick run because I had nothing better to do.

  • is that a 4 cylinder?

  • no, the 4 banger is much slower

  • wow i thought that was slow

  • it's a jeep

  • that dosen't mean anything. you can get into an accident with a car that slow

  • you can get into an accident with any car lol

    accident's aren't planned

  • i mean if u have to make a fast move and pick up speed fast, u cant.

  • Generally, people get out of my way. lol

  • its definitely a four banger. sounds like a cheap ricer

  • that would be due to the fact that this was when I had my 40 dumped. very loud drone inside the Jeep. but no, it is a 4.0

  • get a real car like a prius. its easy to avoid accidents in those.

  • lol, I aim for those cars on the road.

  • your probably such a bad driver, u cant hit a bus.

  • Do you have problems?

  • problems with people who drive 4 cylinder jeep and say its an 8

  • I never said it was an 8 dumbfuck.

  • hold there liberal, your claiming its bigger than a 4 cylinder. there is no way that piece of crap has more than 4 cylinders

  • You are one of the biggest dumbasses I have ever seen. Go an hero.

  • Thats a fucking 4.0L Inline 6, dumbass.

  • @sgquad30 How do you think that is slow? It has the aerodynamics of a brick, it has 33" tires, a 4" lift and he probably has the stock gearing (I think 3.07?). Jeeps have low end torque, and I don't know if I would want a Jeep that is lifted being "fast"... it would be to scary.

  • the prius is an even bigger joke than you. an ordinary car the size of a prius is actually more efficient in the long term

and the jeep, i imagine is a 4 litre 6 cylinder. That's what they have in australia.

  • @sgquad30 dude i would run ur lil prius over in my jeep 15 inchs and 42s 4.0 stroked geared all the good stuff oh yea and its a 01 gc with a 5 speed

  • u shud have gotten a stick, theres more pickup. i would kno, i have one :)

  • if you find me a 5speed tj for free, ill take it.

  • 9 seconds

  • yeah i get about 14 or 15 mpg in my wrangler sport with 35" tires and a 8 inch suspention lift.

  • I get 12 MPG...also this Jeep is slow (No offense) I run 0-60 in 9 seconds, must be because your engine has over 100000 miles on it.

  • yours is faster because you have less weight! lol. I've got steel wheels and bigger tires

  • hey im thinkin bout getten a wrangler and i know gas mpg isnt great but i was wonderin if u could give me a realistic number, about what u think driven normal would get. and is this the 2.5 4 banger or the 4.0 6

  • this is the 4.0 and I get about 11-12mpg when driving normally.

  • I used to get around 16 whenever I drove the 4.0 wrangler.

  • Did you stay at 35 MPH the entire time? Because I have a 4.0 and get 12....just driving normally (Mostly city and some interstate)

  • 5 speed with 4.10? rear end and 31'' tires. I try to be a very smooth and conservative driver. Neutraling down hills and to stoplights, shift before 2k ... as much as I loved the 4.0 haha. I managed to get 20mpg out of the 04 wrangler (in my videos) on a trip one time at 60-65mph

  • No, my jeep is a 2004 TJ 4.0L Stock Automatic (Dad bought it, not me) with 31" tires. Thats the only modification I have made.

  • On the highway it would probably get better mileage. Higher gearing in the rear end and the autos have a higher OD than the manual.

  • manuals allways get better mpg :) Mine with 35s 6" of lift and bunch of other mods pushes 18 city. Also because of the mods although i'm still with 3.73 gears on 35" tires, its still faster than it was from the factory.

  • i have the straight 6 xj with 32" king radial tires (18" wide) i get about 12- 15 when im cruisin' into the wind, but if theres no wind i can go about 130 miles on half tank.

  • i usally get 20mpg even with my 32'' tires

  • ya i get 19mpg with a 3.5in lift and 33's

  • yea gas isnt that great in these bad boys lol

  • ever git the 4th gear/40mph death wobble?

  • never did, a lot do get it though. I guess I was lucky

  • Wrangler axles are hard as nails and some of the toughest made so snapping an axle is the least of your worries.

  • are you serious?....

  • fuckin a. why did yours break?

  • No, thats just one of the stupidest things I've heard all day. lol

  • well, fuck you too bitch. lol.

  • lol yea for real stock jeep axles are actually not very strong. On the older ones at least. The d44's on the newest JK's are actually pretty strong though.

  • some of them are cracking in half though lol

  • How is the handling/cornering after the lift? Huge difference?

  • It took some time to get used to. You will be timid around turns at first, but once you get used to it it's fine. Truth be told, I can take turns pretty fast and not even go on 3 tires. sometimes I can go on 3 tires if I try but I have no fear of flipping unless people are in the Jeep. That's when it gets scary...

As long as you don't do more than a 1" body lift your fine. Mine is suspension.

  • i've got 2" bl and 4" suspension lift.. no problems at all.. i turn on 3 wheels though.

What tires u got? Seems pretty slow.

  • I had the 33" trxus m/t in the video. Now I have Pro Comp Xtreme m/t and they seem to do better on the road. And keep in mind that it was hot out when I did this, so the heat slowed me down a bit. I will do another one with my new tires soon since it is colder out.

  • Yea its slow, but its a jeep and once i get my 4.56 gears it will accelerate better

  • for be a JEEP WRANGLES is too fast

  • slow as hell lol u suck man.

  • its a jeep, not ment to go fast.

  • even if it is slow it still sounds bad ass

i have the same set up on my '02 but with a 5 speed and it makes a big difference over the 3 speed auto

  • my tranny is slipping right now and if it needs to be replaced or rebuilt im going to look into changing it into a manual

  • ahh damn autos..yea i would say go with the manual..i feel like it gives you more control and a little passing power on the highway

  • i love my manual. When shifting i can squeek the tires easily :D The only thing i like from an auto is the torque converter since its good for offroading vs the clutch but besides that.. i love it.

  • yeah chirping tires in a jeep with stock axles... great way to snap an axle

  • i've done burnouts, i've done all sorts of things.. still going strong man :P i got the stock wrangler 30s that came w/ my jeep.
