The Tone is really Superb on this model Gibson...!

I just got a Joe Pass Emperor II and it seems that certain pickups can bring about incredibly pleasing tones on these body styled guitars.

I paid back in 1989, $1200, for a Gibson L4CES, Natural, I still have it Love it.

But, Semi-hollows are Great for all types of Music, Nothings like a "Gibson" And, I played everything.

i own this exact guitar, same finish too and it's my main guitar. I used to sell guitars and i bought my at employee discount for around $2000.00 once i paid down my card. We sold them for $3200.00 or so.

You'd be surprised what a Jay Turser 146 (discontinued) jazzbox with seth lover updates through a roland acoustic chorus 100 sounds like....I highly recommend it. No pick either. About $400. for the Jay...gorgeous...

I sold this particular ES 446 already for $2350 cash. I have another one that I made some modifications on that I would be willing to sell for $2100. I put bartolini jazz pickups in it and replaced the "vintage" style tuners with Metal Grover Tulip Tuners--which are more stable. Let me know if you are interested.
