The box in itself already looks REALLY badass. I mean, its only colors are blue and white but that's already enough to make any die-hard Gundam fan to go nuts. As for the kits, all of Setsuna's Gundams are being milked to the max. There already like 3 kits for Exia alone, maybe the same amount for 00 and 00 Raiser. God knows how many variations are going to be made for 00 Qan[T].

The new PG is going to Strike Freedom Gundam. However, after falling in love with Gundam 00, I've lost interest. I mean, how much gold does Bandai want to waste in making the Freedom's inner frame? I was already ok that they made a lightning verson, as well as MG Full Burst. I'd rather wait for RG Char's Zaku coming out soon, but more looking forward to the 00 Quanta FULL SABER! Wished they put it in the movie in the first place; would be so more epic! Hope you get to watch the movie, rrobbert!

PG Nu would get my vote definitely. I can think of very awesome accessories, like a light up fin funnels, an action base that allows the fin funnels to be in its 'pyramid mode,' and even have Sazabi's cockpit "basketball" included as well. Plus the fact that Bandai loves to make variants of existing PG frames, a PG Hi-Nu would not be out of the question. P.S: Include the wire thingy for the Nu bazooka when Amuro used it as a decoy against Char, that was cool lol.
I would be kinda interested if Bandai released a Unicorn gundam to capitalise on the upcoming UC OVA coming out in fall, that being said what i'm hoping for would be a PG Sinanju...i would be overwhelmed and overjoyed, impossible as it is.
I don't really see a PG Quanta in the near future as from what i noticed, Bandai likes to keep the amount of released PGs low...most of the time just 1 suit from 1 series. Even if there are repeats, its the identical gundam except for the colour of the suit. If Bandai wanted to, they could have blue and green astray out together with the PG red since I'm sure they would use the similar inner frame.
@00gundamreviews Some of the Seed HGs were okay as long as you painted some areas. I did like a lot of the 1/100 ones. But they need to release more MGs for Seed like the Legend and the Akatsuki.

It would be a rather interesting PG, considering how the thing is SO DARN LARGE with the binders on, yet rather normal-sized when you take them off. Also, those binders can be 1 kit replicated 4 times, and then you just slap those onto a fairly simple MS body.
Yeah Zabanya is a lot like Nu with those long bits. I don't like how they're stored on arms coming out of it's butt though. Everything else about it I like though, anchor claws on the toes, bulkier armor, and a massive increase in firepower :) Lockon is my fave from 00, about time he got a one-suit army.
In a No Grade form, not compatible with PG. But I'd like to see them in PG since the Strike and Skygrasper have the potential to attach those Strikers. Sword/Launcher + Skygrasper would be awesome, they could even make Tolle a pilot figure for the new kit since the first (w/ Aile) had Mu and Cagalli. As an aside, I REALLY hope the Dec '10 PG isn't just Trans-Am 00 Raiser. How disappointing would that be?
Unicorn is cool, but I don't think it's likely. It would be a brand new kit released only a year after another brand new and revolutionary kit. Personally I think we'll either get 00 Qan[T] to bank off the movie, or we'll get an accessory kit like Seven Swords or, at the top of my wish list, a Sword & Launcher Striker pack set. It just seems that there hasn't been enough time to make a whole new kit, especially one as big and complex as Unicorn. But I could be surprised.
Your theory doesn't constitute fact without a supporting announcement from Bandai or a source quoting them. As far as anyone can tell, the next PG isn't Unicorn or 00 Qan[T], it is up in the air.
Well actually, I think they will have modify the some parts in the internal frame if they're going to make a PG Qan[T] mainly because the cockpit of the Qan[T] is located at waist not at the top of the chest.

Honestly, you can curse Bandai all you want, but making 00 mecha out of the same basic frame sounds like not only an efficient development strategy, but it also speeds up the development of newer kits since all they need to do is design different outer armor. Look at the MG Wing series now - the plan is to use the same inner frame for all the Wing MS. Why whine about it, anyway? Do you plan on showing off ONLY the inner frame of your MS?
I agree with you. Bandai have already and have always done it. Their is pattern, its the same with MGs, the frames are indeed similar, if you've built Gundams from SEED, they almost have identical inner frames, seen the PGs of SEED, they have almost identical inner frames (with modifications).
It is perfectly normal and very accurate even in the real world. With 00, just 2 years is NOT enough to built a brand new Gundam (just look on how new planes are develop, decades right?)

@crossman456 The whole "low supplies" excuse is something children use to have a reason to bash old designs into something "new" if you can even call it that. And that's something Bandai, in the past, has not been known to do. For example, Endless Waltz, the movie of Gundam Wing, had RADICALLY new designs, with no excuses.
Bandai's becoming immature and designing suits like the 00Q just to make more money from one design. The Seed vs. Astray line is a perfect example of this. PG 00Q is next.

The reason the gundams in the movies resemble the gundams from season 2 are becuz celestial being was low on supplies they they had to use parts from the previous gundams to make the finish product, being the 4(or 5 seeing a Rephael might have something up his sleeves) gundams in the movie.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Bandai announces a HEAVILY revised re-release of the first PG, Evangelion Unit-01. The kit was made as a result of the series' peak in popularity, and the movies are steadily scaling up to that peak again(if not already exceeded). The timing just seems right, but they might just be saving it for the later movies.
Still 00 Qan[T] would not be a huge surprise either. Either way Bandai, bring it; going into PG withdrawl here from the release gaps anyways.

Alright, I'm also adding Gundam Astray Blue Frame to the list. Right now, there is NO WAY they're releasing a brand-new PG by December without marketing it already, and things reusing existing frames would have to have been announced a month ago. But a repaint like an Astray or RX-78 variant with minimal new stuff would be ideal and wouldn't require as much promoting.
One of my firends, I don't even remember when or why for that matter, said he heard something about the next PG maybe being Turn-A. Even I would be willing to get that.
i've got a feeling that its going to be a PG Turn-A. because so far its the only series that hasn't gotten a model in the Gunpla 30th Anniversary line. While every other series has (for seed and seed destiny i count the red and blue frames). Bandai seems to really want to get getting back to its roots with the anniversary, and i've found it strange the lack of Turn-A. However, i wouldn't be surprised if we got a PG exia or PG Quan[T] given the very similar stylings and inner-frames of both.
i think the 00 Quanta would be a waste of a PG like Rob said, there's alot of other kits that have been meriting a PG debut, Freedom, Unicorn, or even the older series like God or V or even one from the older MS short series/movies like Hi-Nu or F91 or Xbone.
Maybe they want to see the impact of the 00 Movie, if they see it good, they will make Quanta, if doesn´t... maybe they will keep with an old project. To be honest, i don´t think they release a PG Strike Freedom soon, I mean, it will be pretty difficult to make, specially the Dragoon Sistem, it will be very heavy in my opinion
It's probably going to be Quan(T), especially considering that the movie is coming out soon.
Knowing Bandai, there's no way they're not going to reuse the 00's frame,

But as long as we're speculating and hoping, I'd love to see Bandai make PGs for the Nu, Shining, God, Destiny, Impulse, original Freedom, Ground Type and/or EZ8 (08th MS Team), and maybe Alex.
PG Unicorn is out. Just not gonna happen. PG Nu will probably be the last kit Bandai will ever release. PG [any Seed Gundam] is unlikely because the Red Frame is already a rehash of Strike. Two PG rehashes will kill Bandai's reputation.
As much as I hate to admit it, PG Qan[T] is next. The frames are TOO similar, almost making it seem like the Qan[T] was originally designed to be 00's rehash.
And the chest cavity? The Qan[T] has a chest orb to be lit.
PG unicorn is more sensible since the unicorn gundam MG was almost an epic fail. . .
probably w/ lights for the psycho frame, easier transformation, and MUCH more articulation. Come on, the people can make a RG so details and articulated in the scale of 1/144.

My money's on the next PG release being a 30th anniversary reissue. The best we could expect is Skygrasper with Laucher/Sword packs since that's been long overdue. But a completely new PG is out of the question as it should've been revealed by now. Four months doesn't give a lot of marketing time.

@UC0150 What I meant was promotional time. No doubt they could make a PG 00Q, but they wouldn't release it so soon. They advertised and promoted the 00 Raiser for many months before its release date. I'm sure Bandai would've put more though into that before announcing a (mostly) new PG kit.

You can never really know with bandai. The new PG could be something that links to the 30th aniversary. Since we already have the rx-78-2 out, we might be seeing the daddy of all gundams, Nu Gundam. I've never built a PG, but It would be nice to get a Nu, 00Q, unicorn, or something completely unknown (Beginning Gundam!?)

I think maybe if they make a PG quanta, they should make it an 'Option kit' so you can change the armour parts.
All the PGs are seperate mechs, so i doubt they'll make another main gundam from a seris.
Im quite exited at the news of a PG strike freedom!

PG Nu would get my vote definitely. I can think of very awesome accessories, like a light up fin funnels, an action base that allows the fin funnels to be in its 'pyramid mode,' and even have Sazabi's cockpit "basketball" included as well. Plus the fact that Bandai loves to make variants of existing PG frames, a PG Hi-Nu would not be out of the question. P.S: Include the wire thingy for the Nu bazooka when Amuro used it as a decoy against Char, that was cool lol.

I would be kinda interested if Bandai released a Unicorn gundam to capitalise on the upcoming UC OVA coming out in fall, that being said what i'm hoping for would be a PG Sinanju...i would be overwhelmed and overjoyed, impossible as it is.

I don't really see a PG Quanta in the near future as from what i noticed, Bandai likes to keep the amount of released PGs low...most of the time just 1 suit from 1 series. Even if there are repeats, its the identical gundam except for the colour of the suit. If Bandai wanted to, they could have blue and green astray out together with the PG red since I'm sure they would use the similar inner frame.

@00gundamreviews Some of the Seed HGs were okay as long as you painted some areas. I did like a lot of the 1/100 ones. But they need to release more MGs for Seed like the Legend and the Akatsuki.

It would be a rather interesting PG, considering how the thing is SO DARN LARGE with the binders on, yet rather normal-sized when you take them off. Also, those binders can be 1 kit replicated 4 times, and then you just slap those onto a fairly simple MS body.

Yeah Zabanya is a lot like Nu with those long bits. I don't like how they're stored on arms coming out of it's butt though. Everything else about it I like though, anchor claws on the toes, bulkier armor, and a massive increase in firepower :) Lockon is my fave from 00, about time he got a one-suit army.

In a No Grade form, not compatible with PG. But I'd like to see them in PG since the Strike and Skygrasper have the potential to attach those Strikers. Sword/Launcher + Skygrasper would be awesome, they could even make Tolle a pilot figure for the new kit since the first (w/ Aile) had Mu and Cagalli. As an aside, I REALLY hope the Dec '10 PG isn't just Trans-Am 00 Raiser. How disappointing would that be?

Unicorn is cool, but I don't think it's likely. It would be a brand new kit released only a year after another brand new and revolutionary kit. Personally I think we'll either get 00 Qan[T] to bank off the movie, or we'll get an accessory kit like Seven Swords or, at the top of my wish list, a Sword & Launcher Striker pack set. It just seems that there hasn't been enough time to make a whole new kit, especially one as big and complex as Unicorn. But I could be surprised.

Your theory doesn't constitute fact without a supporting announcement from Bandai or a source quoting them. As far as anyone can tell, the next PG isn't Unicorn or 00 Qan[T], it is up in the air.

Well actually, I think they will have modify the some parts in the internal frame if they're going to make a PG Qan[T] mainly because the cockpit of the Qan[T] is located at waist not at the top of the chest.

hey rrobbert, have you try putting quanta's shield at one of 00's gn drive slot ? i want to test it out but my 00 quanta is still not here yet :( (i think it is possible cuz both of them have the same slot for putting the GN drive or GN shield , well for the HG version), i'm not sure, its just a theory :P

It's probably a main mobile suit that hasn't gotten the PG treatment yet from a different series like G Gundam or Turn A, or like you said, rrobbert, a Freedom or Strike Freedom. xD

How could you not want a figure of King Arthur!?!? But in all seriousness, it's certainly possible a PG 00Q is on the way. That said, why haven't we seen a Blue Frame Astray PG if it's so easy to re-issue these? That said...maybe that would be the next one. It's certainly possible.

I honestly thought we might get a PG Exia first if Bandai re-uses the PG 00 frame, but based on their releases this year, that'll be anybody's guess. Maybe they'll give us a surprise for Christmas.

Honestly, you can curse Bandai all you want, but making 00 mecha out of the same basic frame sounds like not only an efficient development strategy, but it also speeds up the development of newer kits since all they need to do is design different outer armor. Look at the MG Wing series now - the plan is to use the same inner frame for all the Wing MS. Why whine about it, anyway? Do you plan on showing off ONLY the inner frame of your MS?

I agree with you. Bandai have already and have always done it. Their is pattern, its the same with MGs, the frames are indeed similar, if you've built Gundams from SEED, they almost have identical inner frames, seen the PGs of SEED, they have almost identical inner frames (with modifications).
It is perfectly normal and very accurate even in the real world. With 00, just 2 years is NOT enough to built a brand new Gundam (just look on how new planes are develop, decades right?)

@crossman456 The whole "low supplies" excuse is something children use to have a reason to bash old designs into something "new" if you can even call it that. And that's something Bandai, in the past, has not been known to do. For example, Endless Waltz, the movie of Gundam Wing, had RADICALLY new designs, with no excuses.
Bandai's becoming immature and designing suits like the 00Q just to make more money from one design. The Seed vs. Astray line is a perfect example of this. PG 00Q is next.

The reason the gundams in the movies resemble the gundams from season 2 are becuz celestial being was low on supplies they they had to use parts from the previous gundams to make the finish product, being the 4(or 5 seeing a Rephael might have something up his sleeves) gundams in the movie.
I get what ur saying, it makes sense, and for anything i would be just as pissed, but Im gonna side with the anime;s excuse.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Bandai announces a HEAVILY revised re-release of the first PG, Evangelion Unit-01. The kit was made as a result of the series' peak in popularity, and the movies are steadily scaling up to that peak again(if not already exceeded). The timing just seems right, but they might just be saving it for the later movies.
Still 00 Qan[T] would not be a huge surprise either. Either way Bandai, bring it; going into PG withdrawl here from the release gaps anyways.

Alright, I'm also adding Gundam Astray Blue Frame to the list. Right now, there is NO WAY they're releasing a brand-new PG by December without marketing it already, and things reusing existing frames would have to have been announced a month ago. But a repaint like an Astray or RX-78 variant with minimal new stuff would be ideal and wouldn't require as much promoting.

i've got a feeling that its going to be a PG Turn-A. because so far its the only series that hasn't gotten a model in the Gunpla 30th Anniversary line. While every other series has (for seed and seed destiny i count the red and blue frames). Bandai seems to really want to get getting back to its roots with the anniversary, and i've found it strange the lack of Turn-A. However, i wouldn't be surprised if we got a PG exia or PG Quan[T] given the very similar stylings and inner-frames of both.

Maybe they want to see the impact of the 00 Movie, if they see it good, they will make Quanta, if doesn´t... maybe they will keep with an old project. To be honest, i don´t think they release a PG Strike Freedom soon, I mean, it will be pretty difficult to make, specially the Dragoon Sistem, it will be very heavy in my opinion

It's probably going to be Quan(T), especially considering that the movie is coming out soon.
Knowing Bandai, there's no way they're not going to reuse the 00's frame,
and I'm sure that's the only thing they'll be able to create in the relatively short time before winter.
But as long as we're speculating and hoping, I'd love to see Bandai make PGs for the Nu, Shining, God, Destiny, Impulse, original Freedom, Ground Type and/or EZ8 (08th MS Team), and maybe Alex.

PG Unicorn is out. Just not gonna happen. PG Nu will probably be the last kit Bandai will ever release. PG [any Seed Gundam] is unlikely because the Red Frame is already a rehash of Strike. Two PG rehashes will kill Bandai's reputation.
As much as I hate to admit it, PG Qan[T] is next. The frames are TOO similar, almost making it seem like the Qan[T] was originally designed to be 00's rehash.
And the chest cavity? The Qan[T] has a chest orb to be lit.

probably w/ lights for the psycho frame, easier transformation, and MUCH more articulation. Come on, the people can make a RG so details and articulated in the scale of 1/144.
this coming PG model SHOULD do much better than previous PG models.

My money's on the next PG release being a 30th anniversary reissue. The best we could expect is Skygrasper with Laucher/Sword packs since that's been long overdue. But a completely new PG is out of the question as it should've been revealed by now. Four months doesn't give a lot of marketing time.

@UC0150 What I meant was promotional time. No doubt they could make a PG 00Q, but they wouldn't release it so soon. They advertised and promoted the 00 Raiser for many months before its release date. I'm sure Bandai would've put more though into that before announcing a (mostly) new PG kit.

You can never really know with bandai. The new PG could be something that links to the 30th aniversary. Since we already have the rx-78-2 out, we might be seeing the daddy of all gundams, Nu Gundam. I've never built a PG, but It would be nice to get a Nu, 00Q, unicorn, or something completely unknown (Beginning Gundam!?)
